Disney Store at Roosevelt Field Mall getting a rehab..

I just got an email telling me the Disney Store at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island is getting a rehab (along with a nice 15% off coupon to visit their temporary location in the mall). In my opinion this is much needed. That store has been the same for over 15 years. Anyone else here of Disney stores in their area getting a rehab?

I got that email as well. The Roosevelt Mall is a bit too far from me.

The nearest Disney Store to me are in the Palisades Mall in Nyack, NY (because the Yonkers one shut down a couple of years ago). Haven't heard anything yet.

Looking forward to the Times Square store.

Is there a place where you can find out all the locations of the Disney Stores? There was one in Erie, PA years ago but it closed. I would like to go to one just to get some of that Disney vibe!! And maybe pick up a cool Disney watch (I collect those!!). Thanks!!

OK, forget that question. I just went to disneystore.com and there was a find a location link. Says theres one again in town. Not sure if thats right though?? Better look into it.

Sounds like yours might be one of the first to get the new makeovers to the Imagination Park concept. Disney announced in late 2009 that all the stores will be getting redone with new interactive elements--the project was collaborated with Steve Jobs and Apple.

Our local Disney Store (Southwest Plaza, Littleton, CO) has closed. I tried to do a little snooping to find out if any of the cast members knew if this particular location will be re-done. They made it sound as if that would not be the case here, and that the store was simply shutting down....that's kind of a bummer, but maybe they just didn't know what was really going on. Luckily, there are still a few Disney Stores kind of nearby.

When did you get the email? I am on Long Island and I did not get one. Would love to get a coupon.
