Disney Springs Parking Lot behind House of Blues "Strawberry Lot"

Has anyone parked back in the large lots behind HOB, "Strawberry Parking Lot"
Are people funneled to a Security Check Point in that area? Is this lot open regular hours or different hours?
Wondering if anyone has used it lately and the experience

I know it been taken over by the MINNIE VANS. That is where the office is and MV are parked.

Yes I have parked there. The signs on Buena Vista Drive say Surface Parking and the entrance is across from Typhoon Lagoon. You will have to pass through metal detectors.

Do the Watermelon lot and the Strawberry lot use the same entrance with the metal detector? Or do they each have their own?

Was just a DS this past weekend and no metal detectors at the main entrance from the bus depot.

That's strange. They definitely have security screening with metal detectors in the parking garage entrances to DS.

Do you mean no metal detector when you rode the bus to DS? Or there was a spot for rideshare drop-off (no Minnie Vans) and commuters to park and get into DS without going through detectors?
