Disney springs open interview

I don't think it matters what job, or where it is - dress professionally. At the very least, for a male - dress pants and a button down shirt and, preferably, a tie. For a female - Dress slacks/skirt & a blouse, or a business appropriate dress/skirt

oh and would anyone know of any affordable places near property?
Once I haver enough saved up I'm planning on looking for places and roommates and etc. but I'm kinda stumped on where to begin.

Being a interviewer in the past... working in a with a lot of different employees, working in different fields, and with different job classifications...

How you are dressed is a reflection you, and your work self... and is the first impression that the interviewer will see.... a first impression is everything...

Dress appropriately... no club clothing, nothing see through, no torn or ripped jeans, no shorts, no tank-top or t-shirts especially with questionable graphic... no sleep pants... Yes to Slacks or Pants, Yes to Jeans if the are neat, and fit appropriately... Yes to...Skirt or dress ( watch the length of the skirt or dress a reasonable length) and a Shirt and tie ( Youtube if you need to learn how to tie a tie) ( button up always looks professional) or blouse or top... make sure that everything is ironed, free of stains... take a look at your hands, short clean neat nails, soft nail polish... keep everything simple, day time make-up, shave and trim facial hair, small accessories... please use deodorant, limit the fragrance... brush your teeth, mouth wash, those little mouth wash pocket sheets are the best , keeps your breath fresh, and dissolves quickly... Tuck in your shirt, and wear a belt... and for goodness sake, and wear pants that don't need to be constantly pulled up, or that your underwear is showing or worse your butt crack...! Yes to wearing a bra...bra straps should be out of sight... nicer shoes, hair needs to be manageable... most restaurant have some type of hair rules for health code reasons... it's not personal it has to be within health code laws... take that into consideration when getting ready...

Tips - Smile... be polite and use good manners... ...shake hands, be prepared have a pen and something to write on... turn your phone off so that it doesn't ring and whatever you do... do not look at it or answer it during the interview.. have a resume ( there are lots of free sites that will tell you how to create one) it's better to have one and not need it then to tell the interviewer you don't have one, a plain folder will be fine ... No gum, - Listen to the questions before you answer.... make eye contact with the interviewer... Speak clearly and concise and answer the questions honestly, let your personality shine through this is the time to make the interviewer see you .... keep the slang and foul language to yourself... know what questions you would like to ask the interviewer in advance, or if your not sure on something, wait till the end of the interview to ask ... let the interviewer know you are willing to learn... make sure to Thank the interviewer for his or her time...

When there is a open call interview's.... you have to set yourself apart from everyone else... Be polite and pay attention to what is going on around you, while you wait... even while waiting you are being interviewed... think that from the moment you walk in you are interviewing...

Smoking is another topic... if you smoke take that into consideration, smelling like cigarettes is off putting to alot of people, and while you are waiting getting up to go smoke repeatedly, again is something that people will notice... As well please don't show up smelling like weed or high... same goes with adult beverage's, yes you can smell them... and please don't show up drunk...

The job of the interviewer is to find employees that will fit into the image of the company, mission statement, as well as image of the company, as well as qualified, trainable, honest, and competent employees to fill those rolls... which is a lot harder than is looks

Most of this seen like common sense, I can tell you from experience that this is not the case, I have seen and heard it all... I have had people show up in their pajama pants and slippers, see through top and no bra, pants so baggy and sagging down that their butt crack was showing... and t-shirt with some type of graphic's that's was offensive, obscene, and inappropriate or looking like they just can from the club, chewing gum and blowing bubbles, answering their phone or texting while I was interviewing them, referring to me as girlfriend, chick, chicha, lady, hot mama, mama bear, boss, boss lady, and the list goes on and on... Refer to the interviewer by name, if they aren't wearing a name tag, apologize for not remembering ask again, a quick tip, you can always jot down the interviewer name on the folder, for reference later on...Saying the interviewer name out loud, is a good way to remember when meeting them... and Yes I have had people show up drunk to where they fell out of their seat, and passed out while waiting to be called, as well someone was high as a kite smelled like they had just smoked one and they told me they were wasted... At one open call, we had to call the paramedics as someone overdosed in the bathroom stall... and no... none of them, got a second interview or the job ...

I hope this helps...

I'm not sure what you consider affordable. DD lives not too far from Disney Springs. One BR apts run about $1800/month, 2 BR's just a little more. Once you start working you may come across other CM's that are looking for a roommate. That's what DD ended up doing with her current roommate and it's working out much better than the previous ones.
