Disney Rewards towards maintenance fees?

I have the Disney credit card and was wondering if you can still use the points towards paying the maintenance fees on DVC? Also can I post it to my account before the bill comes out? Thanks.

We've used our rewards points for the past 3 years. You need to call to do it. It can't be done online or through the mail.

I asked once if we could put rewards towards the bill before we got it (in case we had a card that was about to expire). Member Accounting said I could, but I've never tried it.

Yes you can. I did this last year - used my rewards before end of Dec. when my rewards card was due to expire. They will always take your money,
