Disney Resort ROOM Picture Thread *Index page 93*

Here are a few more of the Poly to help you become even more confused on where to stay!:rotfl: These were taken in the Hawaii building, the week after Thanksgiving '06 (11/27-12/4). See if you can decide which resort I would pick.:rolleyes1

Yeah thanks taters....No pressure at all;)

What room number is that? Cause it looks like a garden view room. I know I would like to have a Lagoon view room.

No pressure...no pressure - just pic Poly!! This was a garden view (12/06) #3321 (I think). I'll look & see if I can find some pics from when we stayed in a lagoon view (5/04) #1550 (I think:goodvibes )

Here is a picture of the Concierge lounge for you, while I look around for some lagoon views.:surfweb:

Are you referring to the Poly???? If so, the lounge is on the 2nd & 3rd floor with all the food & drinks on the 2nd floor. Did that help?

Coronado Springs, Cabanas, building 8A, maybe B?

This is how we ended most evenings... eating the desserts we couldn't possibly eat right after dinner! Soooooooo much food, so little time!

Holy cats! Guess I'd better figure out how to make the photos smaller...

DH and I stayed in BWI Garden Suite #1208 for our 5th Anniversary trip in December 2005.

DH and I both loved that the quiet pool was just steps away from our front door and also really enjoyed that it was very quiet. We did not like the hike to the Concierge Lounge, even when we took the back stairs up (a super-long climb).

I LOVED the whole resort and thought it was beautiful and elegant. DH thought the theming was boring and wished that the upstairs and downstairs area had more separation.

I would still recommend BWI to anyone because the location and resort were amazing!

Our "bird house" room number.

Sitting area with pics of armoire (TV inside) and the towel swan and Anniversary card that met us.

Other side of sitting area.

Kitchenette area. There was a decent sized closet to the right of this area.

Downstairs half bath.

Stairs and armoire.

Upper stairs and landing.

Four poster bed and TV armoire. Closet is behind me. Note: The bed was so high that I had to have a foot stool to get in. It was comfy though!

Vanity and jacuzzi tub area.
100_1232.jpg

Jacuzzi tub - nice for soaking.
100_1231.jpg

Shower and WC closet. (The shower was HUGE and I liked it even more than the jacuzzi tub.)

These are pics of our room at the Disneyland Hotel on our trip in October 2006. We had booked a pool/resort view with a king bed request. They originally put us in a smallish pool view with king bed next to the very noisy maid station so we asked to be moved.

We ended up in this HUGE, spacious room in the Marina Tower with a view of Downtown Disney. It is the last room on the left side of the 4th floor before the suite at the end of the hall. It was enormous and mostly quiet except for the steel drum band that woke me up from my nap early one evening!

The thing I love the best about Disneyland Hotel rooms are all of the fabulous Disney touches. Staying on-site at WDW is great but it takes the DLH to really make me feel like I am staying in the middle of the magic!!!!! :wizard:

Our room number.

View from just inside the door across to the sliding glass doors.

View of bed at night with my arranged "buddies".

Couch and armoire from window. (TV and mini-fridge are inside.)
100_2290.jpg

Doorway and entrance area of vanity and bath/shower area. There were two sinks and the counter was very spacious (long and plenty of room.)
100_2286.jpg

Bath/shower area and pic of end of area.
100_2284.jpg

Pic of WC closet with separate door.
100_2283.jpg

Pic of the light fixture in the bathroom. (love the touch of magic here!)
100_2285.jpg

More room magic. This is the border around the top of the room. Tink is in one corner and the pixie dust border extends out behind her all the way around. At night, all of the pixie dust glows in the dark!
100_2530.jpg

View from our window. That's the entire length of DTD and you can see Paradise Pier and The Grand Californian as well.
100_2291.jpg

BTW, there are no balconies at the DLH. The rooms have sliding glass windows and a narrow strip of concrete between the windows and the railing.

Thanks so much for the pics Shauna. Two resorts you don't often see alot of pics of. I would hardly find the BWI room "boring" as your husband said ! :rotfl:
And love the wallpaper border in the DLH room-----that view is awesome too.

I know! How could you call that boring?? :lmao: I loved our room at BWI and would stay again in a heartbeat. I had originally wanted the Poly Concierge which he pooh-poohed. Then we went to the Poly for breakfast at Kona Cafe one day and he decided he loves the place! We're staying there on our next WDW only trip but will be at the Contemporary in April 2008 when we do our WDW/DCL trip.

And yes, I LOVE the pixie dust border at DLH. I would buy it and put it up in my house in a minute! There is nothing quite like falling asleep at night with pixie dust glowing around your room. :cloud9:

DH told me yesterday that he is taking me to DLR for my 30th b-day in April and we are staying at the GCH. I will be sure to take and post pics when I get back!

I haven't even gotten through half of the pictures, but these are awesome!

I have to say that I hnestly like the looks of the Values the best though. For me, they are decorated nice and gawdy and full of disney decor. I love that. To me thats the fun of being there. I want to have Mickey on my bedspread, etc! Don't get me wrong, I think the other palces are beautiful, but I really wouldn't pay more for something that doesn't have Micky in the theme. I am surprised that they don't even. I'm a dork! I know it!

For our disneymoon January 6-14 we stayed in a honeymoon room at the GF, room 4021 with the mose amazing castle view *sigh* I wish I was there now!

100_2256-1.jpg

you can see the bar in the upper left
100_2253-1.jpg

we had a seperate sitting area, and panoramic windows

100_2297.jpg

view out one of the windows. we could lay in bed and see the castle directly in front of us

I just finished my TR if anyone wants to read it, it is currently on the weddings/honeymoon board and the title is "GF/RPC honeymoon 1/6-1/14 w/ pics"
