Disney Recipe Swap, Part 3 and Recipe Dividers

I have a feeling this is going to be a very expensive SWAP for me.
I have no printer, and i have no program on my laptop to format the recipe pages.
Since I have nothing on my laptop what program does everyopne use?
maybe Micro-office?
Then I was just gonna buy a basic inkjet printer from Wal-mart.

I take suggestions for everything.

I use open office, which is free. It does everything Micro-office, except for free.

Staples prints for pretty cheap...I think I have an extra dell printer lying around but I don't want to imagine shipping costs! :rotfl2:

Do youo know anyone who could take a disc/memory stick into work for you:rolleyes1 They can take your paper too :thumbsup2

I use microsoft word, but I have microsoft office on my computer. notes4theheart's idea to use open office is a good suggestion.

You might try openoffice.org

I hope that wasn't against disboards policies.

I have three Disney cookbooks sitting on my desk..I can look and see if they are in them.

I also have one question...If the recipe is long do I use a smaller font(but not too small) or make it 2 pages?

Tracy

I have 3 cookbooks too! I wonder if we have the same ones. The recipes I am looking for are Pineapple Dole Whip from Adventureland and Spinach & Feta Spread from the Sci-Fi.

I want to be able to cook from the recipes that I do, so if the recipe is large, I will put it on 2 pages. That is my preference though. I have 1 or 2 in this swap that might end up on 2 pages.

Sorry not in either of these. They are probably in the one cookbook that I couldn't find..:confused3

I have one that may be borderline...that's why I was asking.

The official recipe exchange on the cooking board has dole whips

Did you guys know that you can order the mix for Dole Whips directly from Dole? A few of the podcasters out there have done that in the past year and then made the mixture in their ice cream makers. I just wish I could remember which podcasts they were on...

Thanks everyone for looking for the recipes. I really appreciate it.

Can I join? I'd like to do the Chocolate Souffle from the Disney Cruise!

The swap actually closed awhile ago. When I talked about this with my co-host for this swap, she said she would like to do another recipe too. I guess I will pm people and see if they would mind doing another copy or 2 of their recipe. I'll get back to you on this, ok.

I would be willing to do an extra one in group 4 or 5 (that I don't have 8 already- I have bought my paper for 8 of each recipe.

Rebecca

Update for Group 5:

Please make 6 copies of each recipe instead of 4. We have 2 new swappers added to the group.

Thanks

VickiV

I've finished my first recipe. I'm working on my second one today. I hope to finish it too.

I've got my cardstock ordered, but I want to see it before I choose my paper. And I can't print anything til it comes unless I use ordinary white paper as I'm all out of white/cream cardstock:headache: I know its a while yet but I do like to get ahead;)
