This is our first time online and we just the other day got a pack with a bunch of discounts and coupons.

One coupon was for Disney Quest. The way I am reading it is it free? For those of you that have been is it worth maybe an afternoon visit (we will have some free time)? It will be DD (45) and DS(11) and he does like all kinds of interactive stuff.

I've read a few times that certain packages were including Disney Quest. I don't know about any new promos. Disney Quest is typically NOT free. Disneyworld.com>downtown Disney>Disney quest. Tells you about it there.

It's at least around $42-$45 a person plus tax.

If my memory serves me correctly you do get 2 Free Admissions to DQ when you book a package. :)
For your DS11 it will be heaven and totally worth your time! Our kids (10 & 11) had a fantastic time there. :)

Yes! I am booked at Pop and the coupons are in the booklet. Still trying to figure out where to fit it in but my kids really really want to go.

If you like old school arcade video games its awesome. They had donkey kong, mario brothers, marvel vs capcom 3, was 3 or 4 floors of it. They also have a build your own toy thing you can buy as well as a ride that doesn't seem to always be operating. Free access to all the arcade games (you can continue as well as if you had a coin to get one) was great. The games if I remember right was broken off by genre/year/type. Its a pretty cool way to introduce kids to some of the older arcade games you don't see any more. There are also some games that are 2 or more player as well.

LOL! I'm such a chicken when it comes to the big thrill rides, the only one I'll ride is the Design your own Cyber coaster at DQ! And it STILL gets my adrenalin going. :rotfl2:

So in my package I have 2 free vouchers. So I would have to pay for 2 of us if there are 4 of us? At 40.00 to get in is it worth it. I don't even play video games but wouldn't want to seperate from my hubby and kids.

Love disneyquest!

My husband could spend days there playing all the games. I'm not huge into games myself, but I did like the interactive ones. On the bottom floor they have a drawing class where you learn to draw different Disney characters. I spent HOURS there taking all the different classes. It was a blast! We actually went three times, and will go back. It's DH's favorite place!

I will say though, the food is not good. Eat elsewhere.

Yes-only two of you could get in for free. If both children want to go, let your husband take them! My DH will be taking our DS 7 while me and DS 4 go do something else at Downtown Disney.

We simply decided me and the younger one would get bored much too quickly to justify paying for all 4 of us to go. Downtown Disney is great. Separating for a little while isn't so bad. If you are bent on not separating, then you should join your family and go with them to DQ. Especially since your kids seem so excited to go.

We LOVE DQ!!!!! You can order discount tickets from UCT if you need more than the 2 they give in the package. I especially like the Mighty Ducks Pinball (you use your body to control the character on the screen), Pirates pirate: and jungle cruise. There is also animation academy and other things to do. It's not just arcade games.

If (A) you take a break from MK in the afternoon (highly recommended), and (B) you don't use that time for a waterpark, it's an excellent time to visit DQ. Crowds are very low.

EXCEPT on weekends. Don't ever go to DQ on a weekend--that's when the locals go, and it's packed.

If not afternoon, it's not too crowded on a weeknight.

Don't miss: Buzz Lightyear and CyberSpace Mountain.

DS13 has loved it since 7 yrs old. At Christmas, we separated and DH took DS and the others in pour party did something else for 3 hrs, as we have been before many times and didn't want to pay. For "free" it was awaesome for DH and DS. You can relax @ pool, go to AKL and watch the animals for a while, take a monorail tour, etc. It's also fun just to walk around DTD for a few hours, take a boat over to POR and get a drink and walk around. However, if you have never been, there are many fun family activities @ DQ--Pirate of the CArib. and virtual Jungle cruise are fun. We also like the animation drawing classes. If you get a hand stamp, you can also go back after dinner the same night to make to "worth it."

We were just there a few weeks ago for the first time. We went on a Wednesday afternoon/evening during a thunderstorm and it was dead.

My boys are 7 and 11 and loved it. Their favorite was the Cyber Mountain, but I believe there is a height requirement on it. They probably did it about 8 times. The Pirates of The Caribbean game was another favorite and you get to do it as a family. Since my kids were both old/big enough to do everything, it would be worth the $40 you have to spend. I wouldn't want to separate either, we had a great time. We were there 3 hours and they probably would of spent longer, but we were pooped.

This is us. We are booked at the POP and got this deal and free mini golf. From what I have read here I think we are going to take advantage of this for sure. I think we are going to leave AK around 2 or so and will head over there for a few hours and have a meal.

As we come from the UK we get DQ tickets included for free, but if it wasn't we would still go. DD8 adores it as does DH34 (in fact he was more excited about it than she was). We have some great memories here - the pinball game, the raft (which I fell out of)' the VR - it was a blast and we had a good giggle. I would recommend
