Disney Professional Program Help

Hi fellow Disney Lovers!

I need some advice. I applied to a Disney Professional Program and was sent an email saying that I was not being considered for the program.

I have all the qualifications, and will have a BA in Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations as of May.

My question is, do I have to participate in the DCP before I can be considered for a Professional Internship?

After reading through this board, I believe there are people on here who got a PI position and wasn't involved in the DCP. I can't say I'm sure, but lets see who else decides to post shall we?

At least you tried and that is better than not trying at all. What position was it?

It was for the Public Relations Professional Internship.

You do NOT need to be an alumni to participate in the PIs but some of them list is as "desired" that you participated in a CP. The only PIs that required you to be an alumni of the program are listed under the head line "Disney Professional Internships- College Program Alumni Only Positions". When you click that link it takes you to the 30+ Alumni only PIs.
