My local store had 3 different princess lamps -
Snow White
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty

The lamps look like a standing princess doll, I'd say about 10-12 inches high. (They don't have a shade above them.) Each princess is holding out her skirt with one hand which makes it fuller. The bulb is underneath the skirt and the skirt lights up when the lamp is turned on. The skirt is textured and has a sort of nubby, glittery look. (I don't know quite how to describe it, really. ) None of them were turned on so I didn't get to see what they looked like lighted up but I think they would be pretty. The price was $10.00.

They also had Mattel princess dolls. Same choices as the lamps but they weren't marked so I don't know the price. All the workers were busy and I was in a rush so I didn't wait to ask. The dolls were dressed in pretty gowns and looked very nice. I tried to find pictures of the lamps and dolls at the Family Dollar site but no luck with that. That really would have helped because I don't know if I described them well enough for you to get an idea! :rolleyes1

DD would love the Aurora one, too bad the nearest Family Dollar is an hour away. With gas prices, we won't be going any time soon. We'll have to check places like Dollar General to see if they have them too.
