Disney Ponchos: Are they available in kids size?

uhmmm... the title says it all.

They do have a child size but they are still really long on small kids. DS-4, who is tall for his age, drags his on the ground. But they are cheap enough that you can cut them down if you need to.

Yes, but my kids did not feel comfortable in them when they were smaller. Even at 7 and 9 they prefer a raincoat with a front zipper rather than the overhead poncho. If your child is under 5-6 you would probably be better off grabing an inexpensive rain coat at K mart or Target. I think KMart has some disney ones!

How easy is that to carry in the parks in a fanny pack?

We buy these great "disposable" plastic rain ponchos at our local dollar store-yes-they cost $1. They come adult and children's sizes and in all different colours. When so many people are wearing the same colour ponchos in the rain we found it hard to keep track of our crew!! These $1 ponchos can be folded up to about a 3"x3" packet and stuffed in your pocket or fanny pack.

Not very easy. The kids raincoat would fold up to about the same size as a kid size WDW poncho - neither will fit into any fanny pack I use.

We bought them for the kids and they immediately wanted no part of them! Not only that but it stopped raining 20 minutes later! I have heard that they are going to stop selling them at the park because of the reason "mom_rules" mentioned. Feel it's to easy to lose track of your little ones in a sea of yellow!

I thought WDW ponchos are now transparent.

Maybe that's the alternative to not selling them anymore and a good idea! Our last trip was last Feb and they were still yellow.

I have ours from November and they are now clear but with the same MM on the back.

Still clear as of last week.

We can fit two ponchos in our fanny packs. When folded well they can become quite small.
