In my view, wholesome pleasure, sport, and recreation are as vital to this nation as productive work and should have a large share in the national budget. – Walt Disney
WARNING - This installment is picture and smilie loaded, so if you don't like that kinda thing you might wanna skip it.
Well it seems people actually have been asking to see this binder
. There have been so many great ones, mine doesn’t even compare, but it seems like it will be functional, it will be something Christian and Hannah can look through, and it will keep everything organized. That is if I don't forget it at home or leave it at the hotel like I did with our confirmation numbers in Nov. 2006

.
Let's look at some purchases first shall we?
T-shirts for Christian:
Walle:
Cars:
More junk for the kids and junk in general:
Not only am I an OCDTP - Obsessive compulsive Disney Trip Planner, I have now become a TAA - Travel Aisle Addict. Yes, I fully admit it, isn't that the first step to recovery
??
I am finally starting to use the Cricut machine Bill’s mom bought me 2 Christmases ago. I was looking at the shapes I had on a Disney font cartridge and it had a
MICKEY HEAD. So I thought I would make something for us to carry in the parks with goals, safety, and the all important Help Cards (
I totally “borrowed” the wording from DisMomAmy , they were brilliant, why change it?). These are not completely done, I will be laminating them and hole punching the left ear
(sorry Mickey) and putting them on a round key ring.
Here are the covers, the safety one is for the goals and parks stuff, the other is the help cards:
Random help cards:
Random tip cards:
Now finally…Ladies and gentlemen I give you THE BINDER. The first section is information about the trip, confirmation numbers, and mousekeeping envelopes. I was detailed about how things would go because Abbey said it would really help Christian with structure:
Cover and first section:
The page below has clip art of a Cast Member tag to give them an idea of what one looks like, although when I get to Pop Century I am going to have them go with me to talk to a Cast Member and show them an actual name tag so they will know what to look for if they ever get lost.
(
I moved the mousekeeping envelopes after the pic was taken)
I know I have gone way overboard, but this is our first time with kids and I was having fun
doing it.
2nd section: Daily schedules. I have nothing to show you since Disney decided to go to the stoopid 90 day window. I am still very bitter about this
