Disney pin codes + Bill = TROUBLE *11/01 Almost time for our Happy Place*

From the responses it seems that all the women agree that "Good Riddance" should be the policy and all the men say let her back in. :laughing: Must be a biological difference programmed into our DNA. ;)

Tracy, I have found that my husband and I are like you and Bill, and I think Lessa is completely right. My husband still calls people his friends....people he hasn't seen or spoken to in years. That is not a friend in my book. I think there is less of an emotional investment for men (sorry if I'm making sweeping generalizations) and friendship is more casual. Plus, if you think about it, you were hurt FOR Bill, as well as being hurt yourself. That kind of double whammy will make anyone turn their back.

However, I'd be right there shooting the evil eye just so she knows you're not taking any of her nonsense. :headache: :rotfl2:

Tracy, I'd be there to make sure she doesn't try to pull a fast one. If you're not there, who knows what she may say to Bill to try to justify her actions!

Nope, I agree with you. Life is too short to worry about people that could care less about you (unless they want something). I hope your "friend" gets the hint when she comes over to visit and you aren't there.

I also feel the same way about the DIS. It makes me want to shop, shop, shop!

Bill is just the sweetest person and never wants to seem like he is pushing anyone away. I love that about him but it frustrates me sometimes.

Thought I'd posted but obviously not :confused:

There'snothing wrong in becoming a binder person :rotfl: I don't have one but I do write plans down and used to have a list of best parade views etc but don't need them anymore :thumbsup2

Fantastic flight prices and good job you noticed the mistake :lmao:

As for Amy I'm not sure what to say, did you ever find out why she went strange after the trip???

Hi Jo! I feel like I have to have all sorts of stuff for them to look through :rotfl:. I can't believe I messed the up the flights the first time :sad2:. In January she said she had had a friend that had passed away, we told her we were here for her and to come by, then we heard NOTHING until July 10th. This isn't the first time she has waltzed in and out of our lives.

I totally agree with your side. KC & I are exactly like you and Bill in situations like this. I don't deal with that carp and he lets it all go.

So what ended up happening, did she come by or call again??

Bill called her last night and surprise surprise it went to voicemail :mad:, so he was upset again.

I think you are right.

Another vote on the girl side. Write her off!

Thanks for responding!

It isn't a friend in my book either. Shooting the evil eye is a good idea though :lmao:.

:hug: Thanks Piper.

Hi Tracy...

no pressure on the binder really....:rolleyes1

and here are some :hug: :hug: for the situation w/ Amy...hope what ever the resolve is, that at least you and Bill can find some peace w/ it and put it behind you

When my daughter and I were at Michael's, we found them for $1.00 as well.
Okay first (but not most important, I just want to mention it before I forget) I found packs of 12 glow bracelets in the $1 section at Target. It was a couple of weeks ago before the 4th, but hopefully they still have some. Do you have a Target close by?

I've been going back and forth about a binder. I did one last time, but I'm thinking my Passporter will be enough this time. I haven't made a decision for sure yet though.

I need to get to Dollar Tree. I've been wanted to check out the Disney stuff there, but the closest one isn't that close. I don't get to that side of town often. Maybe tomorrow. :rolleyes1

Those Monorail pins are cool! And thanks for more info about Austin. The whole thing is just sad.

Thanks, Bill called Amy and surprise no answer and no call back. Binder pictures will be coming soon.

Thanks, we don't have a Michaels, but I will be going to the Dollar Tree and Target soon.

I'm in, about half way through but in!

Welcome, I hope I don't bore you to death :rotfl:.

Lo and behold what did I find in my email this afternoon?? A free dining pin code for the time we will be at WDW in November. We already had an AP code but I wanted to see how much it would be with a package. This way we wouldn't have to buy the tickets separately and just have everything together. Josh is notorious for losing things so this would be safer.

My friendly CM looked it up, and this code saved us $601.00 from what the rooms would have been and the tickets we would have purchased!! Somebody dance with me please!!!

:dance3::yay::woohoo::woohoo::yay::dance3: Sweet! for saving money.

Boo to Amy. I find it really immature to say something like "you're not talking to me anyone" on a voicemail.

Wow! First airfare and now tickets! :banana::banana::dance3::dancer::dancer::cheer2:

I think being a binder person is fine! It's better than my system: a stack of papers stuffed in an envelope and tossed into my suitcase. By the end of Day 1...well, it's a mess!

Thanks!
:banana::banana:

Now what are you going to spend that $600 on?? :rotfl:

As much as I would love to Disney Fuzzy Math it and consider it EXTRA money it needs to desperately go into savings. This trip is still not cheap, but well worth the money.

:banana:Awesome!!!:banana::cool1:

Yeah that part of the voicemail annoyed me :sad2:.

I am liking being a binder person, but I can see how it could get out of hand, LOL.

Woot Woot!!

Thanks Kathy!

*** Some smilies were deleted because there were too many in my message :(.

Yay! That's fabulous, Tracy! See...this trip is gonna be great! :cool1: You've got great pixie dust so far! :yay::yay::yay:

Score on the PIN!!!! That's awesome! We got one, too. As tempted as I am, I just can't use it.

Must.

Wait.

Until.

January.

:sad1:
