As I said we are taking Josh and Abbey with us to Nashville, they will be with us June 11th 14th. I call this the trial run because Josh like his mama is very stubborn and we tend to butt heads and argue sometimes
, ok a lot. I see this little trip as a way to see if I will be able to handle being with him on a drive all the way to WDW.
Yes, I typed it A DRIVE. We might be road tripping it to Disney
. Please pray for me now. Yes, I am optimistic about the trip, but realistic enough to know there are going to be some rough patches. Maybe I need to make sure he knows I will post the good, the bad, and the ugly of this trip on the internet? Hmmm, that is a good idea. It really depends on SouthWest and the Dings.
I have already thought of ways to occupy him on the drive to WDW. He loves my Blackberry Storm so I figure I will let him play with it all he wants to. He likes changing the stations on the Sirius, so I will give him the remote. Wow it sounds like I am trying to entertain a 3 year old doesnt it? I am going to use the navigator on one of our phones plus have Mapquest directions printed so I think we can find our way. I will go more into the planning of the drive later on.
After we get to Nashville on the 11th, we are headed to Opry Mills Mall. We are going there for a couple of reasons, it is a huge mall so it is a great place for me to walk, it has Rainforest Café and a Disney Store, so Bill and I get our Disney fix, and there is a Gibson guitar store that Josh wants to show Abbey. He has been there before and has to show her something there.
June 12th, we are headed downtown to check out the Fun Zone, Sports Zone, and the ABC Block Party. That night we will be going for pizza, then back to the hotel early.
June 13th, we (Abbey, Bill, and I) will be getting up early and going to a fan club breakfast for Bills favorite soap star, Kassie DePaiva. She has two other actresses, Bobbie Eakes from All My Children and Kathy Brier from One Life to Live joining her. There is also supposed to be a surprise guest coming too. After this we will go back to the hotel, pick up Josh and head back downtown to see what trouble we can get into. We havent decided what to do about dinner this night.
June 14th, we will be headed home. I hope Josh and I dont cause bodily harm to one another. He seems to really listen to Bill about everything though. I think I will ask KathyRN what kind of earplugs she buys for WDW. It would help me tremendously in dealing with him.
All kidding aside, I love him to pieces, he is hilarious, sweet, and loving when he wants to be. I will give a mini trip report about Nashville if anyone is interested.
Oh if you havent noticed yet, I havent given you the resort we are staying at or the dates, hmmm that isnt very nice of me now is it?
