I have been slacking with my POTDs since I got back a couple of weeks ago!! I've been back to school getting my classroom ready for the kiddies come Sept. 6th. Well anyway, my favorite land...

....we have to report back on the 4th, and our students' first day is the 5th....

For some reason when they built the Tower of Terror in DCA, they went with a simplified version. Still a great attraction, but the queue isn't as impressive (Studio's Tower of Terror queue is one of the best anywhere IMO) and the ride doesn't roll forward out of the first shaft (the 5th dimension) like it does at the Studios. IMO the exterior is not as impressive either. They obviously had a tighter *budget* at DCA then they did at the Studios...

That's why I said it was dumbed down. I don't know if that was the right term, but it sounded good at the time.

If you had never been on the Studios version you would no doubt say it was an awesome "E-ticket" attraction... but having already ridden the Studios version, I had fun, but I had to wonder what the big wigs were thinking on that one.

Just when you thought you'd never hear from us again....bam....here we are. Yup, DizzKneeGeek(aka The Trashman), PrincessFontaine and little Ariel Fontaine are resurfacing. Needless to say things have been quite hectic since July12th. I won't really say much about the delivery or how things have been since; I don't want to get off topic from the thread's theme. If anyone is interested in these sorts of stories; please let me know and I will post some if people don't get mad at going off topic. Or I can post a whole new thread.

Anyway. Pictures....that's what you're here for...right? Thought so! Grab a cause I've got 14 pictures you've never seen before. All of them featuring the newest addition to the Trashman family, Ariel Fontaine. As always, my pictures are a bit big. I do this on purpose because small pictures are a pet peeve of mine.
