Spotdot001- I love the picture of the baby giraffe. Wish I could afford to stay at AKL, but until I can, I'll just have to visit to see the beautiful animals. (And, of course, I'll have to have a Zebra Dome while I'm there.) This thread is always a day-brightener for me. I just get happy looking at everyone's pictures - remembering things we've done in the past and getting ideas for new things I want to see when I am there. Keep them coming. I love all the slideshows, too - Mark Barbieri and Gdad and so many others. They're really great.

I tried about twenty times and Just Couldn't Gettit!!!
What kind of camera do you have?

I took those with my Kodak camera. I had to take a whole bunch, and these were the best two. I found that when I waited for it to light up and held the camera out a little from the key hole that they came out the best.

I took these in April 2005, since then I have bought a new camera, the Canon S2 and wish that I had tried to get a better one on this last trip.

Yes that is where you see tinkerbell. I had seen that secret on this board somewhere. My family thought I was crazy until they saw her, but of course thought I spent too much time on the boards.

Is it only first thing in the morning you can see her? When we were there the drawer was locked but we never thought to look into the keyhole.

No it's anytime during the day. Just look at the keyhole that isn't blocked up. Every so often, a light will flicker across the store, down to the drawer, and the keyhole will light up. That is Tink. If you wait for a few minutes at the keyhole, you will see it.

This one is a picture I took of them filming a new commercial or something featuring Goofy. He would sign autographs in between takes and such. It was kind of cool to see something like that being filmed.
