Thanks! December 5, 2005, we had ADRs at the castle at 9:05. I'm thinking this was about 8:45 or so????

Minniemousemom- where are the decorations that hang between the buildings above your head on main street- garland with fruit, etc.? We were there last Dec.- the first week- and they were up. Did they take them down for the taping of the parade and not put them back up yet? Just wondering- we are visiting again the first week of Dec. 2006 and those some of my favorite decorations for Christmas.

This was taken Christmas Day while waiting for the parade..someone made this smiley face in the sky..very fitting for the Happiest Place on Earth!!!!!

They had taken them down for the filiming of the Christmas parade (I'm assuming). They filmed the parade on Sat. and this was taken on Monday. I tell ya, I was a bit disappointed to walk in and see it wasn't really decorated like I had imagined. But, by the next day it looked like this:

Thanks minniemousemom! I feel better now! When we were there last Dec., our first day in the parks was the Monday after the filming and it was decorated then too! Our first park day this upcoming Dec. will be the Monday after the filming- I hope they continue to put the decorations back up that soon! Your pictures are beautiful and make me want to go back! Funny, I noticed everyone in the background of your picture has on jeans and sweatshirts- same week Dec. 2004 we were in shorts all week!!! Guess I'll have to pack the kitchen sink just in case!!!

LOL You're welcome! Just for the record, my husband and I were both in shorts and Tshirts.

I couldn't speak because he scared me half to death

Right down the middle of Main Street USA
Stop, stop, stop went my heart strings.
As he started to leave I took hold of his sleeve

And then we'll be walking down Main Street
The place was made with a magical plan
And just around the corner is a fantasyland
We're walking right down the middle of Main Street USA!!!

Thank You for transporting me to Main Street USA! This is one of my
favorite things at the Magic Kingdom!
