Disney Photopass???????

I still think it's a ripoff, since you can get digital cams for $200 or so, and take all the pics you want for free thereafter, don't have to deal with physical media, and can use it for free wherever you want later.

Digital cameras are small enough now to easily fit in a diaper bag, or even in short pockets.

We'll never be doing Photopass again, unless they give you some way to simply save pictures off their website. Believe me, I learned the hard way there is no way to save those pics to the hard drive. I'd be willing to pay a price to save some, or even, all of these pics, if I didn't have to purchase a stupid CD or hard copies. But $99 for these photos, in any form, is simply too much. It's just an obscene amount of money to me to pay for something that really didn't take that much effort for the photographers to do. It doesn't take them more than 5-10 seconds to snap a photo, then swipe that little card.

I agree that it's a great concept for a service, but the prices need to be more competitive with people simply bringing their own digital cameras for a lot less $$$ per picture than the confiscatory rates Disney wants for them, and it's much more convenient for people who don't bother with physical media unless it's an absolute necessity (very rare for many people these days).
