Disney Parks Parade

I taped it this morning and I'm watching it right now. Does anyone know when it was taped?

I know lots of families from my homeschool group attended the tapings.

The main tapings were 2 weeks ago (I believe that was the weekend) over the course of a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. At least one of the days was rained out and taping did not take place and I think one of the days may have been extended.

Then Disney goes and splices all the pretty parts together. I do know that the various performances were filmed on different days. So what you see is not one day and one event.



ETA: Correction--it was 3 weeks ago, the first weekend in December.

They were filming the DL portion while we were there November 7th-9th.

We were there during the taping of the Jonas Brothers performance on December 6. Did you see us on TV? We were there to the right of the hub... No? Neither did we...

I enjoyed it, nice to see sunny places when we were cold here in Mass. It made the kids super excited for our Oct. trip.

The 4th was rained out, that taping took place on December 6 and MK was a mess for the later half of that day (at the beginning, Adventureland was empty because people were at the hub)

We saw the Goodyear Blimp flying around a few weeks ago, and wondered why. While watching the parade yesterday we saw it. Now we know!

Celine Dion's performance in the Grand Floridian was taped on Friday, Dec. 4th. We were in AK that morning and got rained out so decided to do the monorail loop to keep out of the rain. First stop, GF. What a madhouse! It was wall to wall people. We did not stay long!

dd3 was glued to the parade on tv yesterday. I dvr'd it for her and she watched it again this morning. Figured that it wasn't all done in one day. Was it me or was Kelly Ripa kinda unKellyRipa like? She seemed so softly spoken and robotlike in her enthusiasm

I liked the Demi Lavato number.

We missed watching it on Christmas! Does anyone know if it is available online anywhere? I would love to see it.

Yep I thought Kelly was a little different acting. I thought it was interesting to see her in a sleeveless dress when everyone around her was in sweats. LOL

I think Celine was AMAZING! Loved her 1st dress - would have been AWESOME to have been there to see that! I wonder how all the people knew about it - if it was on the local news or just people staying on property that heard about it.

Sort of. We weren't there early enough to get the formal training on the choreography or to get one of the scarves. But were were there long enough to pick it up. So, I was doing the dance but without a scarf. Still loads of fun.
