What characters or themes should I do for my next set of artwork? The canvases are 8"x10", done in acrylic paint.
Currently I have painted a Beauty and the Beast, Monsters Inc, UP, Toy Story, Lion King, Peter Pan, Cinderella Castle and Lilo and Stitch.

I need more ideas. So hit me with every idea you have.

Is there a particular style you enjoy painting?

You can always do the classic characters. Mickey and co. You can paint them through the decades or pop art.

You can also paint famous disney rides like the Haunted Mansion, the Tower of Terror, the Epcot ball thingy or the Enchanted Tiki Room.

You can also do the 4 seasons featuring disney characters. I love the idea of a Disney couple walking hand in hand during fall with leaves blowing around them.

How about something from 20,000 Leagues in that Harper Goff style? It's hard to know if that would suit you without seeing an example of your work. It might be cool. Maybe consider other live-action Disney works too, if that is to your tastes.

If I was artistic (& I"m not!), I would do a whole series on classic scenes from WDW: painting of people riding through It's a Small World, Watching Country Bears Jamboree, Parade on Main St or Christmas themed Main St, People on Jungle Cruise, waiting for the monorail, walking through World Showcase, watching Illuminations.....

I could go on and on, but you get the gist :)

Would love to see some of your finished paintings!

These are all really fantastic ideas. Some are way more advanced in painting than I could pull off in my wildest dreams. Most of my paintings are simple single colour backgrounds with characters in the foreground. Never painted any people, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Ideas and challenges.

These are some of my paintings I've done. I honestly hope I don't disappoint anyone who've given ideas.

Oh I love these! So you like to add quotes to your paintings. You should do a Dole Whip one... although there isn't really a quote for it or anything, although it would be hilarious if you put a few lyrics from Devo's "Whip it" :rotfl:

These are so cute! Do you sell them on Etsy?
I think you should make some Winnie the Pooh ones :)

No I don't sell them on Etsy...quite honestly I don't know how to. If I could figure it out I probably would. I'm in Canada can I still make/put them on Etsy?
