Am I crazy, or have I read about an outlet mall with Disney store close to DW? I went to one here in Las Vegas, but it was mostly Disney LAND and I wanted some CHEAP DW stuff! Address would be nice, if I wasn't hallucinating (SP).

There is a Character Warehouse close to Downtown Disney that carries WDW merchandise.

Character Warehouse. Was there in December. Alot of the merchandise is non sellers from WDW and marked way down. Pretty exciting.

Off of I-4, exit #68, 8200 Vineland Avenue, 407.238.7787. Orlando Premium Outlets. Many name brand stores here, you can spot it from I-4.

Do not use Las Vegas as a point of comparision. That is run by a different company. I was in LV in August and I will say they had 5-10% of the merchandise you will find in an Orlando outlet.

Character Premiere is in the Orlando Premium Outlets a few miles from Downtown Disney. There is a Character Warehouse and Character Premier at the Prime Outlets on International, at least for now - from what I understand, they plan to tear up the malls to make outdoor style shopping, and some stores will close while that is happening.

When we were there in may there were two stores in the Belz outlet mall on International Blvd. There was a store in each building and each store had some same merchandise and some different. It was worth hitting both. We also went to the one at the Premium out let and I didn't think the selection was as good.

The mall is no longer Belz, it is Prime Outlets. And sometime in the near future, it is possible the stores could close (at least for a while). I just talked to a couple of employees when there a few nights ago.

The merchandise is often just different sizes of items that sold - like, if they sell out of a small, and if Disney isnt restocking, then the outlets might get the other sizes. They also get mercandise on past events, or lines that appear to be over (like they had a bunch of grumpy merchandise this time). So it isn't even that some items weren't popular. They do have a lot of great stuff much of the time.
