After we rode Soarin, I went and got Fast Passes for Mission Space while DH and DD got in line for Test Track. We had to wait about 20 minutes for test track, our longest wait of the whole trip. We loved Test Track. I just wish you got a few more laps on the track that was the best part. We exited Test Track and started making our way to Mission Space when DD lets go of my hand and lets out a blood-curdling scream. Just so everyone knows DD is a drama queen. I would say I dont know where she got it but that would be a lie. I am a major drama queen myself and my husband has been in drama his whole life so my poor DD had no choice, genetics always wins. I look over at DD and she is lying on the ground. Apparently, a little girl accidentally tripped her and she fell down, did I mention she is also a giant klutz. I scooped her up and grabbed the bag ocrap. Wet wipes, anti-bacterial gel, and band-aids to the rescue! I was so glad I brought that bag. 5 minutes of hugs, 2 tissues, and 1 boo boo kiss later we were back on our way. Next stop Mission Space! We go through the Fast Pass line. I chose the less intense ride because of DD. We went to the queuing area and then the warnings began a barrage of warnings that assaulted us for nearly 10 minutes. DD could not handle all of the warnings they really freaked her out. We got on the ride telling her how fun it was going to be but as soon as she saw inside the shuttle, it was all over. DD freaked out and started crying hysterically. I am not one of those moms that force their kids to go on rides; I figured she had liked everything else she would like this too. I was obviously wrong so we got off, and to be honest I was glad because I was nervous about the ride also.
By this time, we were all getting hungry so we decided to go to the World Showcase for lunch. I wanted to eat in France, so we started the walk through the countries. World Showcase was a ghost town. We saw less than 50 people the entire time we were in World Show Case; it was very weird. I guess people tend to go there at night. We ate lunch at the Bistro. I had the onion soup, DH had the macaroni and cheese, and surprise DD had chicken fingers. My soup was good. DHs macaroni and cheese had so much cheese it was over powering. I have always believed that you cannot have enough cheese on any dish; I now stand corrected. After lunch, we had some pastries. The pastries were mediocre at best I must say. We spent the next two hours wandering through the World Show Case. This was the only day that we were in a park after 12:00 P.M. and did we learn our lesson. If it had not been for the mister fans, we may have died from heat exhaustion! I am sorry to admit but we didnt really like World Showcase that much. It was not quite what we expected. Most likely, we couldnt enjoy it because we were broiling; I am sure that was probably it.
Here are the pictures of World Show Case, notice no people.

We decided to go back to the hotel for some rest before coming back for Illuminations and dinner. As we were walking back toward the entrance, I saw the character building. DD and I couldnt turn this down. We got to see Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy for the third time as well as Donald, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and King Louie. Goofy cracked us up. All these kids were patiently waiting in line for all the characters but at the end they could choose King Louie or Goofy first and they were all going to King Louie. DH felt bad for him and started taking his picture. Goofy started acting like a super model and was doing all these crazy poses. I laughed until my sides ached.
Goofy posing for DH when none of the kids were talking to him.
DD really enjoyed seeing all of the characters again. Chip and Dale were very cute and loved their autograph sheet. Donald was very funny too. His autograph sheet showed him playing soccer and so he kept acting like he was going to kick a ball; it took us a few minutes to figure out what he was doing.

We made it back to our room and by 6:00 PM., we were ready to strike out again. We made it back over to Epcot and walked straight to San Angel in Mexico for our 7:00 P.M. reservation. We did enjoy Mexico. The shopping was more fun and more reasonably priced. About 7:30 P.M., we sat down to dinner. We had a taco type appetizer that was fabulous but the rest of the meal was mediocre at best. They had one thing going for them, the alcohol. They made a mean strawberry margarita. I was lit up like a Christmas tree after one drink. I had read in the Unofficial Guide to Disney that the patio in Mexico was a great place to watch the fireworks. After dinner we crossed the street and found a spot right on the railing, and that was only 30 minutes before show time. About 10 minutes before show time DD started dancing around; I thought she was just excited. No, wrong again. She had to use the restroom, again! Oh my goodness, she has the most impeccable timing of anyone I have ever known! DD and I once again found ourselves in a race against the clock. We ran into the pyramid pushing people aside in our relentless pursuit of the restroom. We were done and out the door in what must be a Guinness world record, and made it back just in time Illuminations was very good. The heat was intense. It shocked me when the fireball erupted and the heat slammed into my face. DD and I both agree that Wishes was much better than Illuminations. We liked it, but there is just something magical about Wishes. DH liked Illuminations the best. He is such a man, always goes for the biggest explosion. It was extra magic hours but we were too tired so once the fireworks were over we headed back to the hotel knowing the next day was just around the corner.

Illuminations, I did not get many good shots of these fireworks
