So from digging on Twitter, Monsters at Work is being produced by Disney TV Animation which wasn't fully included in today's presentation. There was also no mention of HSMTMTS which is getting a season 2.

1. I saw on Twitter that Monsters is supposedly still happening. I guess they just thought it wasn't worthy enough?

It was still on the release artwork I think like 2 weeks ago. If it’s just about done, why not talk about it? I mean, we

3 things I’m surprised we got no news om

1. Monsters at Work
2. Haunted Mansion
3. Shrunk

Haunted Mansion was a bit of a stretch, but I’m worried the other 2 may have been canned? Especially worried about Monsters at Work
Monsters was a very strange omission, they had recorded a good chunk prior to the lockdowns, and worked on it through them. It was supposed to be out relatively soon, Spring or so. The silence is definitely worrying.

Shrunk I expect just isn’t all that far along in production.

Ah, that makes sense. Just confused because just recently it was talked about as if it was pretty much done.

As far as Haunted Mansion, I know it’s going to be a movie, but I really would have liked a Twlight Zone anthology series hosted by “The Ghost Host” and every episode is a story about a different ghost, or set of ghosts. Could be animated too

Most of this stuff announced today wasn’t coming until 2022 and beyond. Shrunk just might not have been a priority with the other shows mentioned. They were on for 4 hours. And there’s a couple more omissions I can think of. They probably didn’t want a 7 hour stream

Yeah I don't get it.

Gotta save something for future announcements too.

Theyve got a while until D23 now. 21 months. But I would absolutely love to see this presentation every year, even if it’s scaled back, or just one sector of the movie studio at a time
I would love it as well. Even just an hour or so. Give me a programming update, update investors, show some trailers and be done.

I wonder if Fury was replaced by Secret Invasion. Both have been rumored, but maybe they’ve always been the same show. I would have liked to have seen a Secret Invasion movie...in the theaters. But a 6-8 hour “movie” on TV works too, I guess.

Also, I watched the Star Wars presentation again and missed the wording on things. I was under the impression the first go around that The Ranger of the New Republic was an animated show. But it’s totally the Cara Dune series. But no Bo Katan? And Kennedy mentioning that Ahsoka, Mando, and Rangers will all be running along the same timeline (not surprising) but would also culminate in a major event? Could these series end with a movie? If so, Moff Gideon is definitely working under Thrawn

Either Bo Katan is part of one of these series or hers is not far into development yet.

Well that one sheet the other day did say Cara Dune and Bo Katan show. Maybe they meant it to be the same show? Just not sure how Bo would fit into a Rangers of the New Republic show, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s Favreau and Filoni. She could also be in Ahsoka.

Looking at the calendar and if Falcon and the Winter Soldier is 8 episodes, May 7th, the premiere date of Black Widow (as is) would be the same day as episode 7 of FatWS. So it’s very plausible that anything related to Black Widow could be revealed in those final 2 episodes.

Last I heard was it sounded like it was only going to be 6 episodes. But I remember Anthony Mackie saying it was an “8 hour movie”. Time will tell, and it’s nice to have a date for the show, and a month for Loki. WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Loki, and possible What If? without any break at all. Oh, and Shang Chi.

Price hike goes in effect March 26th by a whopping $1. Outragous!!! ;) ;)
But hey, with new originals poppin, how else they'll pay for the effects and the actors?

Patty Jenkins is the only one sitting pretty. Got her money for WW84 through a deal that “assumed” the movie would make 1B and got paid as such, and now she’s hopping over to Disney for Star Wars.

WB needs to fix this quick or it could destroy The Batman. Matt Reeves is a big theatrical guy, and even if they treat him well personally, he might still shut the production down to back these other creators

Can't put that genie back in the bottle -- unless they're ordered to by a court or something. Streaming is the way forward. There's still a place for theaters too, I hope -- but clearly streaming is where it's at.

And what better time to see if this works? Many (most?) people won't feel comfortable returning to a theater for at least another 4-6 months -- maybe far, far longer.

Streaming service is a better option than delaying every movie for a year and a half, IMO.
