Liked the episode, but never having been able to get sucked into either CW or Rebels is going to hamper my enjoyment going forward. Some of these cameos just don’t mean anything to me. I have to try Rebels again. CW I’ve now tried so many times and can’t get into it so I think it’s a lost cause for me personally.
CW starts slow for sure but I loved it. Rebels is also very enjoyable but I like CW better. CW is what the prequels should be.

Filoni directs chapter 13, and given Ashoka is his baby I’m going to guess that’s when we see her, and I think it’ll be a last scene reveal and she’ll be in chapter 14. Next week will likely be a filler, but I believe Carl Weathers said a few weeks ago that he’s in Chapter 12 so we should at least get our first appearances of the season for Grief and Cara

Yeah, that is what I am thinking - next episode he stops at Navarro to pick them up so the "full team" can go to where Ahsoka is and yeah, makes sense she would first appear in the episode Filoni directs

Also noticed that Bo never specifically says she knows where a Jedi is, she says "where one of their kind" is - so makes sense it is Ahsoka ... also, by specifically saying "one" I assume it's just here and either Ezra is somewhere else or she hasn't found him yet (though if she hasn't found him then I would think Sabine would still be with her, and then odd for Bo not to mention her) or I guess maybe they found out he didn't survive

If you are up for it there are a few key episodes of Clone Wars and even just the last 4 episodes of Rebels. You don't need to watch every episode to get an appreciation of the characters ....
Would you please list the relevant episodes in Clone Wars and Rebels? I’d especially like to know more about the history of the Mandalorians as well as the significant characters who are likely to appear this season. :thanks:

Here is an attempt:

Clone Wars:
- Season 2, episodes 12-14: Obi Wan goes to Mandalore and we are introduced to Dutchess Satine and Death Watch

- Season 5, episodes 14-16: more with Dutchess Satine and Death Watch but also Bo Katan and the dark saber

- Season 7, episodes 9-12: Siege of Mandalore and connection with Ahsoka

Rebels:
- Season 3, episodes 15-16: explains the houses and clans of Mandalore, more on the dark saber and Sabine Wren's role

- Season 4, episodes 1-2: battle to free Mandalore from the Empire and brings back Bo Katan

- Season 4, episodes 13-16: not really Mandalore relevant but the final arc of the series and where we last see Ahsoka

Hope that helps

Many thanks! It does help!

Some really great series coming. Lots of marvel coming. We haven’t had any in 2020 and we won’t be getting any. Wanda vision is coming on January 15. Has Disney announced any other series when it’s coming?

Not yet. Loki is wrapping up productionso it should be finished within the next 2-3 months. I would guess it doesn’t link into the MCU as much as FatWS does in terms of timeline, so they could theoretically release Loki in March/April, Black Widow in May, Shang Chi in July, FatWS in July/August, Hawkeye in September/October, Eternals in November, and Spider-Man in December. That’s about 3/4 of the year where MCU content is available in theaters and streaming. What If? Is also due out next year as well

as far as non MCU, a lot of stuff is in production. I know Mighty Ducks was supposed to start shooting right before lockdown. And Chip and Dale has been confirmed for 2021 as well. Mandalorian S3 as well

Finally watched Mando late last night

SHE SAID THE NAME!

Has there been any news on the What If marvel series. Seems like if any series could have not been as effected by Covid it would be this one.

They just revealed the composer last month. I would guess most of it’s already complete, but it’s always had a mid-2021 release timeline and I’m assuming doesn’t impact any of the MCU proper even though it’s technically part of phase 4. So I expect it to be released in the summer regardless of the other movies/shows that come out

One last question: the events of Clone Wars take place before the events of Rebels, correct?

(Nerd hat on) Rebels leads into Rouge Once which leads immediately into ANH
There's a nice mention of Hera Syndulla in Rogue One

Fair point (excluding the flash forward at the end of Rebels of course)

Guess was thinking more it is about the start of the Rebelion/early days of forming that/etc which builds to what we see in A New Hope
