I guess I need to learn how you make popcorn cause I absolutely love theater popcorn. My theater was doing deals too with to go packages where you could get a giant bag plus two slushees or something for I think $20? Which to me isn’t that bad. I don’t think they are still doing those now that they are open but if they do that again I would do it.
I have to agree. I've tried making popcorn on the stove, have a Whirly Pop, a friend has an 'at home' theatre style popcorn maker and I've tried various brands of microwave popcorn but I can't hold a candle to movie theatre popcorn!! I'll pay the price for it since I'm saving on the cost of going to the movie!

Has anyone heard any rumours or confirmations about Mulan still airing on Disney+ starting Dec 4th? I understand that's it available now for an up-charge but wondering about it still being released to all Disney+ subscribers in a few weeks? My daughter has been waiting (im)patiently for this one since it was first announced they were making it a number of years ago! I saw it yesterday at Walmart on DVD and Blu-ray for less than it would cost me to purchase from Disney+. If it's not released on Dec 4th I think I'll buy one of those as we'd at least have a hard copy available for the future!

Sucks that we’re still 2 months away, but it makes sense. With the lack of original content that will draw in the average, non hardcore Disney audience they need to spread these series’ out a little. Hopefully by year 3 of D+ we’re looking at continuous overlap of content

I see a lot of people say they are doing this, but I will be honest I don't get it. Movie popcorn is sooooo expensive to me and the popcorn we make at home is better tasting to me

(I also get we aren't big movie theater goers so maybe that is why)

We used to have a theater that made the popcorn fresh and it was great, but our main chain just reheats it basically - it comes in giant bags - so it varies. Iff you really want the BEST popcorn though you need to hit a cart at Disneyland!

we use a stir crazy and it seems to work really well and then we can control if and how much butter we use, etc.

I am not aware of any packages like that - I am just thinking of regular movie theater prices where it is like $15 just for a large popcorn

Ah, and therein lies the difference! ;) I tease that I like popcorn with my butter!! popcorn:: 💛 popcorn:: 💛 popcorn::

There’s never been a substitute for movie theater popcorn. It’s like getting a slice of pizza outside of NY/NJ, there are tolerable options, but there’s nothing like authentic NY pizza from NY

Bucket list to someday try pizza in NY or NJ. Guess that comes with the bucket list item of actually visiting those places some day!!

I haven’t bought any. Don’t really like popcorn. But for some people I’m guessing they are just trying to help out their local movie theatre. Of course movie theaters are one of the ones hurting the most from covid.

True I guess - maybe I don't get that connection as we don't really have a local theater - closest good one we have to cross state lines

People are very much overreacting to this. First, it's not genocide, she is not the last of her kind, it's just her last chance to spawn. The eggs were not fertilized. I am pretty sure the frog lady knows that there is bound to be attrition with the eggs - it's just part of the deal. I do not thing she is terribly upset about losing a handful of them. It's just some weird Star Wars alien silliness.

We also don’t know what he was doing with the eggsChances are he was eating them, but everything else, other than the soup, we’ve seen him chew before swallowing. So maybe he was harvesting them. If you see when he’s up against the tank, the eggs move towards him. So I’m not 100% convinced he was eating them.

Yeah seen that theory before and that then perhaps something happens to her tank and she thinks they are all lost and then he brings some back up to save her line
