I read somewhere that we should be able to upgrade existing unused tickets online to an AP. I went through the process of purchasing but didn't see anywhere to apply my 6-day tix already purchased for May. I also went into my individual ticket and hit "upgrade" but wasn't given AP as an option. Anyone had any success upgrading? I'll probably have to call.

Looks like sometime in the week following 10/1 the service may launch.

Ok this I actually did not think of. Here we all are freaking out about pre 50th, but in reality debuting the week after the 50th, allowing the day to be its own thing and not cause issues, was an option I did not consider.

I was really hoping this wouldn't launch until after our trip in early October. Like you, we will have a short window to glean information prior to our arrival IF (and that is a big IT if), Disney is able to roll this out as planned. I really don't want to deal with this without prior intel.

I will say that we have already decided that we will not be availing ourselves of any "per ride" charge--ridden everything but Rat and won't be paying if we can't get a BG. Down the road, Guardians and Tron might cause us to rethink, but as slow as Disney is to complete projects--that will be a long way down the road.

Yeah feels like the Creations Shop is going to have a more reserved look to it vs the theming that went into Mouse Gear. We'll see in a week!

I am really trying not to form an opinion before the store actually opens but when I go to Disney World, I expect Disney themed everything. "Creations Shop" so far does nothing for me towards making me feel the warm & fuzzy Disney experience. Mouse Gears was our family's favorite store. So far feeling very under whelmed with its replacement.

OH... OH OH OH I DO!!!!! I was gutted to hear that HEA was ending just because that song has such an emotional pull to me but hearing this guys' story about how he's been a Disney cast member makes it pretty special!

Same. I was worried, bcuz we are big HEA fans. Looks like the emotional feels will still be there, atleast for us.
