Really interesting that they are willing to tweak this like this. No idea how often they will do it but I'm sure it also gives some interesting dataNEW: From Dec. 19 - Jan. 3, Walt Disney World is moving four Individual Lightning Lane attractions to Genie+.
Space Mountain (MK), Frozen Ever After (EPCOT), Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (DHS), and Everest (AK) Lightning Lane will be included in Genie+.

Yes, amazing, isn’t it, all those DVC owners can’t wait to pay their dues!
Wonder why they are doing this. For such a busy time of year you'd think they want to try to get more money out of this.
CM daughter leader in Food and Beverage was told "not until 2023." Of course, Disney changes their mind all the time, so...Any guesses everyone to when this dining plan might come back.
was hoping we would have herd by now

I agree. The dining plan is there to sell excess inventory in dining reservations in bulk. If they sold it now, they'd have a lot of very unhappy customers who prepaid for food but couldn't get reservations to get it.Right now even though most restaurants have reopened, according to the CMs I talked to they're not at full capacity, and they still have adjusted/limited menus. Until that's back to normal, I don't see the DDP coming back.
Has to be one of Disney's famous I.T glitches?Disneyland Mysteriously Cancels Guest Reservations for Oga’s Cantina En Masse
OGA’S CANTINA RESERVATIONS AT DISNEYLAND FROM JAN. 1-FEB. 6, 2022 WERE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELED AND GUESTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVING NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION BY EMAIL. RESERVATIONS DURING THAT PERIOD ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK AGAIN ONLINE.
My more or less uninformed guess as to when it will start again would be (and honestly, I think these are a little high):Any guesses everyone to when this dining plan might come back.

We unfortunately have YouTubeTV. We had GoogleTV previously due to using Google Fiber for our internet. However, they discontinued the "cable" portion this year. We switched to YouTubeTV, which hasn't been bad. We have Disney+ but not Hulu. We don't really watch anything that went away, except FX and F1 on ABC. I guess once What We Do in the Shadows, American Horror Story, or Formula1 comes back we will have to figure something out, if they haven't come to an agreement. I don't really want to get Hulu. It was pretty worthless for the short period of time that we had it for free. At least they reduced the monthly cost of YouTubeTV after removing the channels. My old cable never did that after channels disappeared.
