After 12 months of renovation Sleeping Beauty Castle has reopened to guests at Disneyland Paris

NEW: From Dec. 19 - Jan. 3, Walt Disney World is moving four Individual Lightning Lane attractions to Genie+.

Space Mountain (MK), Frozen Ever After (EPCOT), Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (DHS), and Everest (AK) Lightning Lane will be included in Genie+.

Wonder why they are doing this. For such a busy time of year you'd think they want to try to get more money out of this.

I’m going to assume because the parks are going to be so busy, that all the regular genie+ times will be gone very very fast. By adding these rides into the mix it should slow the “bleed”of times so swarms of angry guests aren’t going to GS for refunds or taking to Twitter complaining their 15 dollars only bought them two rides. So my guess their angle is to stop any more bad press on Genie+.

Right now even though most restaurants have reopened, according to the CMs I talked to they're not at full capacity, and they still have adjusted/limited menus. Until that's back to normal, I don't see the DDP coming back.

I agree. The dining plan is there to sell excess inventory in dining reservations in bulk. If they sold it now, they'd have a lot of very unhappy customers who prepaid for food but couldn't get reservations to get it.

Imagineering: Facade Modifications Planned for Tomorrowland Light & Power Gift Shop Ahead of TRON Opening

According to a recently filed permit, Walt Disney Imagineering has contracted work for “exterior facade modifications” for an address that matches the Tomorrowland Light & Power gift shop – also known as the Space Mountain gift shop.

My more or less uninformed guess as to when it will start again would be (and honestly, I think these are a little high):

August/September - 75%
June 1 - 50%
March 1 - 20%

I imagine that it won't be announced until they've onboarded enough staff (and perhaps not until international workers can come back), and so much has to be sorted out (food, supply chain, etc) plus the chance there's another weird variant or issue. My more honest/initial guess is more:

March 1 - 10%
May 1 - 35%
June 1 - 40-50%
July 1 - 50-60%
Aug/Sept - 66%
Jan 1, '23 - 95%

And here's where it gets tricky - if it's not going to be up and running until, for instance, October - is it worth doing it in 2022 (because each year they negotiate, etc). So, I sort of think that if it's not out by late summer/fall, it'll be 2023. I also can't recall their language (I know they said it would come back - but I don't think they gave a year, like they have for some things).

OOPS - edited to add - I think it would be super cool to learn how it began (DDP) and changed.

Blizzard Beach Operating Schedule Extended Through January 1, 2022

While Typhoon Lagoon does not have an official reopening date yet, we expect that Blizzard Beach will close one day and Typhoon Lagoon will reopen the next. Currently, that means that with the Blizzard Beach operating schedule on the books through January 1, 2022, the earliest we expect Typhoon Lagoon to reopen will be January 2, 2022. That said, plans have changed in the past and they could change again.

We unfortunately have YouTubeTV. We had GoogleTV previously due to using Google Fiber for our internet. However, they discontinued the "cable" portion this year. We switched to YouTubeTV, which hasn't been bad. We have Disney+ but not Hulu. We don't really watch anything that went away, except FX and F1 on ABC. I guess once What We Do in the Shadows, American Horror Story, or Formula1 comes back we will have to figure something out, if they haven't come to an agreement. I don't really want to get Hulu. It was pretty worthless for the short period of time that we had it for free. At least they reduced the monthly cost of YouTubeTV after removing the channels. My old cable never did that after channels disappeared.
