Was going to post on the rope drop thread.... but they’d probably delete or move it. Everyone on this thread is so friendly, so l figured I’d ask here.

we are for sure rope drop/commando touring family, lol. With the parks opening up about 45-60 minutes earlier than posted, I’m wondering where we will eat breakfast.

We are staying at the contemporary and the cafe doesn’t open for mobile orders until 7.... but we will be at the parks several days at 7 when they “open” at 8. Do you just end up doing a mobile order in the parks for breakfast after you hit a few headliners? Any suggestions for a decent breakfast in all the parks but Epcot? I have 3 teen boys who will be hungry if we skip breakfast, lol.

feel free to move as necessary. Thanks!

Yak and Yeti QS in AK is really good for breakfast.
Breakfast Ronto Wraps in Galaxy's Edge.
MK is the only one I'm not sure of.

This is tricky and something we’ve struggled with in the past. Many food locations don’t open with the park, what’s available early is very limited. So many people hit Starbucks the line is nuts. Same with Joffrey cart. I’m interested to hear what other people do too.

We have snack food in the room. Apple slices, string cheese, nutrigrain bars, etc. we start with those and then grab something in the park once things start dying down.

Honestly breakfast in the parks stresses me out if it’s not an ADR. I do a prime order and eat before we head out. Then we will get a morning snack to top us off around 9ish (danish, cupcake, whatever we want because it’s vacation). Then we get an early lunch around 11ish. It works for us.

I’m with everyone else, if we don’t have an ADR, then we’ll eat in the room... bagels, cereal, English muffins, oatmeal, etc... 😋

Yes, trying to rope drop and deal with breakfast is not the easiest! We ordered groceries and in the mornings we would have yogurt, cheese, cereal, bread with peanut butter, some fruit, etc depending on what people want. My crew can definitely not go for long with nothing in their bellies! And then usually a mid-morning snack, and lunch.

I'm a fellow park commando. As others have mentioned, bring snacks or portable food. We use a combination of protein bars and pb&j sandwiches and eat it on the way with our coffee or beverage of choice. We never do breakfast at WDW unless it's our pool/DS day. Wastes too much time for us.

If you are DVC or have fridge+microwave you can heat eggbeaters in the microwave and make portable breakfast sandwiches in minutes too.

So I’m assuming Mayor Demings didn’t have any thing to say related to face masks in his conference today?

We will be bringing snacks for the kids in our group and plan to do rope drop then grab a coffee and pastry after we're in the parks and have done a few things.

To note: I always see Sleepy Hollow at MK recommend for breakfast on vlogs! MENU

It was my son who had the trouble with ropedrop breakfast really, lol. We’d offer him food in the room but he’s half asleep no appetite. Then after 2 rides he’s ‘starving’ and most breakfast places beside ADR aren’t even open yet or it’s across the park and has a 1 mile line 😆 Teenagers - pfft!

What time do most of the qs/mobile order type places in the parks open?

Most don't open until 10:30 or 11am, maybe 10am. Otherwise, they open with the park or maybe an hour after and serve breakfast. Except at Epcot, no breakfast except Joffrey's/Starbucks. Unless you consider a margarita acceptable breakfast food :rotfl2:
