I just read the full DPB post on Boo Bash and found this to be the most interesting part:

This fall, the decorations on Main Street, U.S.A., will receive a magical transformation for the event nights in October as “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins. Walt Disney Imagineering, in partnership with the Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Services team, will blend a fall look with the enchanting story of Cinderella by creating special pumpkin coach decorations that will add to the park’s sparkling EARidescence during this magical time.

I have always loved the fall decorations in the park - I love the idea of adding some Cinderella coach theming as well!

Interesting that is specifies the event nights in October only. I am wondering what that means for September and August. Will it just be the regular decorations I wonder.

There was a lot of dining that popped up 24 hours in advance as people cancelled plans. I got Chef Mickey’s for breakfast and even saw an Oga’s as well.
For the past week or so, I've been checking the dining reservation availability online for the next day or 2 days later to get a feel for whether or not reservations open up and I've seen the same thing. This is very reassuring.... hoping you're having a great trip and congrats on grabbing a Chef Mickey's!

Here’s an article!!! Thanks again for the breaking news!!!!!!! 👏🏻

Tusker House Restaurant Will Reopen June 20

Bookings start Friday, June 4. Graze on a bountiful family-style menu brimming with African-inspired flavors and see the host, Donald Duck—along with his Disney Friends!”
I need to go set an alarm ASAP. We'll be in AK a few days later :)

I'm linking an old, but relevant thread: Villains After Hours FAQ (from 2019)

@GADisneyDad14 set up several of these threads on the TPAS pre-Covid and they were a HUGE help in planning for DAH events. This one in particular has reviews of the events from several people. Since it sounds a LOT like Boo Bash is going to follow a format similar to Villains AH I thought it might be helpful to some if I posted the link so people could read reviews/what to expect/etc...

Ahh, the good ol’ days of the various After Hours threads. I agree, this one feels a lot like VAH to me and I suspect will be executed similarly, if not identical.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

That's been my thinking since they announced it. Aside from the trick-or-treating it sounded pretty close! Maybe not the Villains stage show, but something similar? Of course, it's a bit more expensive...

I really appreciated this thread as we planned for our trip- it helped a LOT. Honestly, the more prepared you are going in the better experience you'll have.

I also have a feeling that we'll see more DAH events coming once operations are back to "normal".

Anyone here have the guest services email address? I know it’s been posted several times before in other threads, but I can’t find it.

With only 3 hours, I would venture to guess this is a much smaller (capacity) event than MNSSHP??
I would hope so! But I don’t guess we’ll know until they actually start happening.
You do at least get to enter the park around 7pm before the event starts? So you're paying for 5 hours of access, plus you know you get that always special complimentary popcorn, ice cream novelties and select beverages!
I’ve only read that there will be complimentary candy. Have you read that they are having the other items like DAH?

Yeah the Disney Parks Blog Post kind of spells some of the offerings out and one of the items listed is :
  • Select complimentary snacks like ice cream novelties and popcorn, along with select beverages, are included in the cost of the event.
