If you're on mobile, use Firefox as you can download Ublock Origin. I don't believe you can download an adblocker if you're using Chrome on mobile but don't quote me on that.

I use opera on my phone just for the disboards. It's the worst for ads, though goftcards dot com has been sneaking in but it's not obtrusive.

I don't mind seeing ads - that is how The DIS makes money after all. I do mind overly obtrusive ads that cover content or the response box and ones that constantly steal the focus making typing a response really annoying as you have to keep clicking back into the box to continue typing.

The obtrusive ads do seem to be gone for me now - it looks normal again.

I used to agree and put up with the ads but a month or so ago they just became way too obtrusive and made the site impossible to use. I ended up having to put in an adblocker and like the previous poster I only use it on my phone for the Disboards.

I support the podcast with monthly patreon, not worried about the few cents they lose from my ads not appearing.

I'm the opposite honestly. I don't care at all about blocking ads. I'll use an ad blocker on every device I have to ensure I never see an ad again. I haven't seen an ad on Youtube for a decade for example.

The CM is a hero. I hope he is treated as such. If that thing had bounced into the crowd at the very best someone would have been suing Disney for negligence and at the very worst someone could have died.
