Now, which of these announcements from today never happens and gets scrapped?
The assumption was that it was going down to allow them to work on the expansion. I don't think they would remove Big Thunder.I thought I read that Big Thunder Mtn was going down for an extended refurbishment- we don’t think it will be rebranded for Cars, right?
This baffles me. BSO takes place on a specific day between episodes 8 & 9. Mandalorian stuff takes place just after episode VI. What happened to storytelling and continuity?A new Mandalorian themed story coming for Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run. It’s about time!
Simba’s Mountain Adventure!Lion Splash Mountain
They realized that it really kills the opportunity to bring in super popular new IP into the park, so they blew it offThis baffles me. BSO takes place on a specific day between episodes 8 & 9. Mandalorian stuff takes place just after episode VI. What happened to storytelling and continuity?
Pretty sure that stopped after Mando and Grogu became characters that can be found in BSO regularlyThis baffles me. BSO takes place on a specific day between episodes 8 & 9. Mandalorian stuff takes place just after episode VI. What happened to storytelling and continuity?
Looking at the concept art, it might be a clone, or very similar, to the Cars ride in California. A stand alone ride, not touching Thunder. It makes sense as the mountain scenery matches Big ThunderI thought I read that Big Thunder Mtn was going down for an extended refurbishment- we don’t think it will be rebranded for Cars, right?
I love the peak despair here on this page within an hour of them announcing VillainlandSo is Villains land as a concept dead, then? RIP in peace, I guess.

I could see that as an extension of fantasy land… but I hope that they move to electric cars for the speedway. I always feel so bad for the cast members that have to breathe those fumes!I'm excited for the announcements. Though Cars belongs replacing Speedway. I don't know how they are going to make Card fit in Frontierland if it isn't Radiator Springs unless it's becoming a separate land NEXT to Frontierland.
And Villains Land. YES please!
I agree, it does match with Radiator Springs.Looking at the concept art, it might be a clone, or very similar, to the Cars ride in California. A stand alone ride, not touching Thunder. It makes sense as the mountain scenery matches Big Thunder
The next step is seeing just how much is budget cut from the concept art they showed usI love the peak despair here on this page within an hour of them announcing Villainland![]()
I'm too cynical to be watching this. Flight School is basically the Harry Potter Hogwarts ridecool potential plus-ups though
One of the pieces of concept art for Avatar looked a lot like Grizzly River Run. Which really hurts for me as that area is my favorite section of the park theming wise and I don't give a crap about Avatar. It actually looks like the Sum of All Thrills, but on a moving track system.
I am still processing all of this this morning. Where exactly is all of this stuff going? I am not seeing where they said, particularly some of the DLR stuff.

What happened was that guests didn't want that, they want to see the characters they likeThis baffles me. BSO takes place on a specific day between episodes 8 & 9. Mandalorian stuff takes place just after episode VI. What happened to storytelling and continuity?
