SAG-AFTRA & Studios To Meet Monday

SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP are meeting next week. The actors guild and the studio reps released a joint statement Wednesday evening saying that both sides are coming back to the table on Monday, October 2.

“SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP will resume negotiations for a new TV/Theatrical contract on Monday, Oct. 2. Several executives from AMPTP member companies will be in attendance,” read the statement.

Disney Springs Parking Garages & Lots Opening Earlier Starting Next Week

Starting next week, Disney Springs parking garages and surface lots will open at 9:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. (via Orlando Sentinel).
I thought the parking garage already opened at 9am. I’ve gone several times at 9am and always parked in the Orange Garage. We’ve been twice for an Anime clothing drop at Uniqlo for my DS who insisted on rope-dropping so it wouldn’t be sold out (🙄 not the case either time), to get a spot to see Ashley Eckstein, & to get doughnuts at Everglazed, and we were 100% parked in the garage at 9am. This was all post-Covid. I guess I missed the relatively recent change to opening times?

If only they could figure out some way to make them look like they are part of the scenery and not a big pile of metal. I agree they HAVE to be better than the monstrosity that they replace, but if they can't be removed, can't they be somehow camouflaged?

Guess we have to wait until they are all in place before we know what they will look like during the day.

If they're going to leave them out there all day, I want Harmonious back, I loved that show, I think it was amongst Disney's finest nighttime shows.

Let's just step back and hold on to the fact that all the outlets have reported the new barges will be moved in and out of the lagoon. I say just assume that to be true unless Disney says otherwise.

Agreed. Driving 6 of these of these out under the lift bridge at dusk, should be pretty easy IMO. Then just lock and load.

Don't get me on my soapbox about how 'rock & roll' many of the inductees are :sad2:

But, still surprising that it's moving from MAX. With HBO part of MAX, Warner Bros. may not want the expense associated as they've got plenty of other content for the larger combined MAX platform.

Visited the hall this summer. Many instaances of what is that doing here. Interesting but wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Maybe they thought Rage Against the Machine was rock n roll enough for the rest of them :rotfl2:

I remember them doing the same with Olaf's Frozen Adventure because of the length of the short. At least here in the UK, it is going to be on Disney+ from the 16th October :D
