I don't usually have a car at WDW and even I celebrate this news. Charging for parking at the resorts just stinks.

I just hope they aren’t giving us all these nice things so they can say “ BUT WERE KEEPING DISNEY GENIE PLUS “ which is the main thing I really care about

Which they obviously are if they are saying guests who have it can have free photos

Sigh. The one thing they know will make everyone if they removed and happy, they will keep. $$$

Admittedly i used a car on property and never saw charges added for resort parking.

I'm very (happily) surprised to see all of the positive news. I was not optimistic that things were going to change in terms of the parks, but these little things do add up. I still think Disney has a lot more work to do to win back some of their audience, though. I really hope park cleanliness and constant ride breakdowns eventually get addressed.

Unfortunately I do not see Genie+ (or any paid skip the line service) going away. A paid Fastpass system was something Disney wanted to do before Covid, so it's here to stay.

I too really wish that Genie+ would go away. It's truly awful. However, the good news today about AP's not needing reservations after 2 and free parking coming back is a big step forward. Here's hoping eventually Genie + going away becomes that second big step forward. I really would not have ever guessed that parking would be free again.

Yeah, but adding Photopass like they have at DLR is at least a value-add. All of this stuff is adding value to the product, even if just a little bit.
