Festival of Fantasy Parade Drops to a Single Performance Per Day Starting Today​

As we previously reported, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will drop down to just a single performance today. Since it returned, the Festival of Fantasy Parade has been performed twice per day – at noon and 3pm. This twice-per-day schedule was a departure from the typical single performance-per-day schedule prior to COVID-19. Now, Disney is dropping the noon performance and only has a 3pm performance on the books for the foreseeable future.

Typhoon Lagoon Extends Operating Schedule Through Early November

After only having park hours through October 29th for months, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has updated their operating schedule to include hours through November 5th. Theme park fans have been waiting on the return of Blizzard Beach, which is still likely to reopen this year, but it doesn’t look likely to reopen this month with the latest extension of park hours at Typhoon Lagoon.

Disneyland has announced a reopening date for the planned Indiana Jones Adventure refurbishment. The refurbishment is currently planned to last from November 14 to November 16, 2022, reopening to guests on November 17, 2022.

Report: Tokyo Disneyland Plans to Reduce the Number of Visitors by 20 Percent

It is being reported that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea plan on reducing the number of visitors by about 20% starting this year to provide a better customer experience, less congestion, and lower wait times.

The news was shared on Japan Times where it goes into more detail on the Oriental Land business strategy for 2022 – 2024.

New ‘Encanto’ Bus Wrap Coming to Disney World

Disney has shared a first look at a new Encanto-themed bus wrap that will debut soon at Walt Disney World. The wrap was created to celebrate Hispanic and Latin America Heritage Month. Here’s a look!

I know it's strange, but all the different wrapped buses make me happy anytime one of them stops at my stop rather than a plain one!

Logo Released for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind “Holiday Remix” Overlay​

Disney has shared a first look at the festive logo for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind holiday remix overlay! The overlay will have a new, festive song for riders to enjoy.

Perfect, that’s after my November trip. I haven’t been on Cosmic Rewind yet, and I‘d like to experience the original before the holiday overlay.

I'm going to miss the original as my trip isn't until December. Kinda bums me out, but then again I think Christmas music will be cool, hopefully they'll pick some good Rock and Roll Christmas tunes!

2022 Thanksgiving Feast Announced for Whispering Canyon Cafe (Menu & Pricing)

A Thanksgiving Feast on November 24, 2022​

Gobble down tasty eats this Turkey Day with a bountiful feast at lunch or dinner.

Gather ‘round our table for a delicious 3-course meal. Start off with cornbread and a crisp house salad before digging into your choice of 3 all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets—like the delicious Thanksgiving skillet, which features oak-smoked turkey and barbecue. End your meal on a sweet note with the seasonal dessert sampler.

Menu Changes on Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving Day, our usual breakfast menu will be offered from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The holiday meal will be available from noon until 10:00 PM. The regular lunch and dinner à la carte menus will not be available throughout the day.

Prices

• Adults (ages 10 and up): $45 per person, plus tax and gratuity
• Children (ages 3 to 9): $27 per person, plus tax and gratuity

I am in the same boat. My first time riding it will be with this holiday overlay. I'm sure I'll still love it, but I was kind of looking forward to anticipating which song I would get.

My son was over the moon when he got to ride the Figment bus. They add some cheer and we enjoy seeing them too.

Mary Poppins Retheme Extends to Regular Guest Rooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Boca Chica building has reopened after a multi-month refurbishment, and while Boca Chica will not be absorbed into the Disney Vacation Club offering at Grand Floridian, it did receive the same Mary Poppins retheme of the rooms and common areas. We stopped by Grand Floridian today to take a look at the newly reopened building!

Cast Members told us that the rooms received the same retheme as the DVC rooms in Big Pine, minus the typical amenities that DVC would have over a standard guest room. Cast Members also indicated that all of the rooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would eventually receive the “Mary Poppins” retheme. Cast Members were not sure which building would be next to close for refurbishment, and the Disney World website does not list an end date for the overhaul project.
