Was really hoping this would open before my December trip. Doesn't look like it will be a choice when my ADRs open in October. Between this and Fantasmic being a secret, it's hard to plan HS time.

To me, those are such small items and not even attractions for them to be slapping them at the forefront of their merch.

Marie is all over Disney merch but there's not an Aristocats attraction. If the merch were only attraction-based it would get pretty stale. It's nice that they recognize their properties that aren't represented well otherwise.

Disney KiteTails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is officially ending this month. The final performances will take place on September 30, 2022.

“As you know, Disney KiteTails debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park for the launch of the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. After this first year, we will transition the entertainment on Discovery River Lagoon to the Flotillas. The last flight for Disney KiteTails will be September 30, 2022.

We look forward to seeing our guests continue waving to their Disney Friends cruising by on Flotillas, embracing Disney pals with up-close encounters, and more to come as we introduce our Festive holiday season offerings in the months ahead.”

It wasn't earth-shattering but it was a fun little show. Had a much better time watching KiteTails than Rivers of Light. I'm glad I got to see it.

Disney to Announce Annual Passholder Exclusives at Typhoon Lagoon

According to BlogMickey.com sources, Disney will soon announce Passholder exclusive offerings at Typhoon Lagoon. The New V.I.Passholder Perk will be available on Thursdays and select Sundays in October. We aren’t sure exactly what exclusives will be announced, but we expect Disney to share more details soon.

Typhoon Lagoon reopened in January but may be closing for refurbishment later this year. More on that in a bit.

Hmmm maybe I’m reading between the lines with the wording with focusing on flotillas and introducing holiday season offerings in the months ahead but Holiday flotilla/boat show???

Scaffolding Rises as Work FINALLY Begins on Façade of Roundup Rodeo Barbecue Restaurant in Toy Story Land​

Scaffolding has been erected at Roundup Rodeo Barbecue in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The project was announced in 2019 and unfortunately delayed by COVID. Back in April of this year, we briefly started to see signs of construction before another long pause, but now it seems construction crews are back in the saddle.

Now, we can see scaffolding, which suggests that work is finally taking place at the future table service restaurant.

This is disappointing for those of us who are visiting during the 50th anniversary window, but still won't be able to see the show due to its abbreviated run.

I feel like Disney is regretting making the celebration 18 months long. They just don't seem to have enough merchandise or special food and events to sustain such a long celebration.

EPCOT Forever expected to return to Walt Disney World for a third time

Although not announced, the final performance of Harmonious will likely occur alongside the conclusion of Walt Disney World's 50th celebration on March 31 2023.

We don't have an opening date for the currently unnamed new show, but Disney has given the vague timeline of late 2023. Should Harmonious end on March 31, and the new show make its debut in late 2023, we expect to see EPCOT Forever return as an interim show.

Would this mean the removal of the barges at the lagoon?

You will find proof I posted on the main board, and in search, but the posts aren’t showing. I’ll be able to post a couple of times and then not. Also, people have been replying to my posts, but I couldn’t see all of them. So strange.
