Latest update to Disney Genie adjusts how arrival times are displayed for Lightning Lane selections​

When most people make Lightning Lane selections between 7am, and 7:30am, the Genie Tip Board will show "Check Availability" instead of an arrival window. This change will apply to both Genie+ selections and individual Lighting Lane purchases.

In addition, the Tip Board now highlights those experiences with an upcoming Lightning Lane reservation.

To access the new features, My Disney Experience needs to be updated to the latest version on iOS and Android.

‘Spider-Man Freshman Year’ Animated Series Coming to Disney+ in 2024, Charlie Cox Returning as Daredevil​

Marvel Studios has announced “Spider-Man Freshman Year,” a new animated original series that will start streaming in 2024 on Disney+.

I've been trying to keep up with all the SDCC news. For the MCU fans out there, besides Daredevil involved, some of the other characters introduced to the MCU via this animated series

The cast members are not given any more information than the regular public on these things.

Agreed. Seems like too far for training, tho if it's engineers only being trained, that could take a few months worth to be fully ready.

Found this that was told to those taking the Behind the Scenes tour at Disneyland

You don’t need a license to be an Engineer on the Disneyland Railroad, but you do go through some special training. They start by taking 5 weeks of classes (1 week in a classroom), then take a test which if passed, provides them with a learner’s permit of sorts. After about a year or training and working with that, they take another test and are then certified as an Engineer

Guessing it's likely similar to that. It'll depend on how many trained Engineers they still have / how many needed to become Engineers in order to run the trains properly before able to bring them online. They must have enough for 1 train since they've been testing for a few months, but I don't know for sure.

The remark of January opening wasn't from any trusted source so may all be moot.

Cast Member Previews Scheduled for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Before Reopening at Walt Disney World​

Starting August 7 and ending August 9, Cast Members will able to preview Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique before it opens to the public August 25. Cast Members will be able to make a reservation for up to two children between the ages 3-12.

This reservation does not include costumes or accessories, but does include hairstyling and a magical makeover by a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice (name change alert!) The experience will also allow provide admission for three guests and the paying Cast Member for the day of the reservation.
