Shanghai Disneyland Resort to Continue Phased Reopening

Shanghai Disneyland Resort has announced that they will continue their phased reopening with the reopening of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Downtown Disney on June 16th. Here’s the latest:

Disneytown and the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel will both reopen on June 16, 2022. Wishing Star Park, the World of Disney Store and Blue Sky Boulevard have resumed operations on June 10. During the initial reopening stage, each venue will operate with limited capacity as well as select offerings and services. The Disneytown Parking Lot will also resume operations on June 16.

Shanghai Disneyland and Toy Story Hotel will continue to remain temporarily closed until further notice.

Disney Stock Price Drops Below $100 For First Time Since March 2020​

Stock for The Walt Disney Company has dropped below $100 for the first time since March 2020, when it dropped to $85.98 immediately after Disney Parks closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The stock price dropped to $100 in late May. As of 9:36 a.m. today, June 14, the stock price was $95.51.

The Patina Private Path Beer Bash is a one-of-a-kind adventure around some of the most popular Disney Springs restaurants: Morimoto Asia, Enzo’s Hideaway, Maria and Enzo’s and The Edison.

Walt Disney Archives Announces Exhibit to Celebrate 100 Years of The Walt Disney Company at D23 Expo​

The Walt Disney Archives will be hosting an exhibit about the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company at this year’s D23 Expo, as well as panels, presentations, and an exhibit focused on Walt Disney’s airplane.

The chronological Step in Time exhibit will showcase Walt Disney Archives assets with immersive, themed environments from various Disney films, TV shows, and parks.

The 12,000-square-foot exhibit will be available from September 9 through 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center during the Expo.

On September 10 at 10:00 a.m., the Walt Disney Archives team and special guests will be on the 1,250-seat Backlot stage for a look at Disney100: The Exhibition, which opens next year at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.
