Connect with Disney Parks at Star Wars Celebration​

The Force is strong this week in Anaheim, CA, as Star Wars fans from around the world come together for the biggest Star Wars event in the galaxy: Star Wars Celebration. Taking place May 26-29 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Star Wars Celebration features major announcements, exhibits, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels and so much more to celebrate the cultural phenomenon that is Star Wars. And with Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite also happening just down the street at Disneyland park on Friday night, Anaheim is the place to be this week for Star Wars fans of all ages.

The Joffrey's coffee shop kiosk near EPCOT's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind has been updated with the new EPCOT look.

Benches arrive in the EPCOT World Discovery breezeway outside Connections Cafe and Creations Shop​

Just ahead of tomorrow's opening of EPCOT's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, seating has been added to the breezeway between World Celebration and World Discovery.


The 7 benches are positioned in the space between Connections Cafe and Creations Shop.

New Walt Disney World Vacation Package for U.K. Visitors Includes Dining & Merchandise Credit, 14-Day Tickets, Gift Card, and More​

Disney has announced a 2023 “the magic is yours” vacation package for U.K. tourists visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
Included in this package is a dining and merchandise credit of up to $1,200, a 14-day Magic Ticket for the price of a 7-day ticket, Memory Maker, a $200 Disney gift card, and two tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s “Drawn to Life.”

To take advantage of this deal, guests will need to book by July 27, 2022, for vacations between January 1 and March 25 or April 17 and December 17, 2023. There is a minimum stay of five consecutive nights and a maximum of 21 consecutive nights.

The exact perks can vary slightly depending on the length of stay and the Walt Disney World Resort hotel. For example, a two-week vacation at one of Disney’s All-Star Resorts includes a $500 dining and merchandise credit. Meanwhile, a two-week stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort includes a $1,000 dining and merchandise credit.

Werther’s Original Gingerbread Caramel Cookie Sandwich from Karamell-Küche Unavailable

During a recent trip to EPCOT, we found that the Gingerbread Caramel Sandwich Cookie was GONE.

We asked a Cast Member and they indicated that our beloved treat left the shop recently and reportedly something NEW will be replacing it.

According to the Cast Member, the gingerbread cookie sandwich will be going back to being seasonal again.

This is probably the most disappointing news I've seen all week IMO. I was able to get one on my May trip and it was one of the best snacks I had on the entire trip. I was super excited to see that it was no longer just a holiday exclusive too

Best event Disney has done. It had to be a money generator with the loads of merch and food sold. I certainly bought things I usually wouldn’t have, it was just a festive mood. Their reason of with Galaxy’s Edge we can celebrate SW all year long is a flimsy excuse. I have yet to run into any actors there, for one.

Radiator Springs Racers Closed for Second Day Following Smoking Vehicle Incident at Disney California Adventure​

Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure is closed for the second full day in a row. According to the Disneyland App, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters in Cars Land is also temporarily closed. Radiator Springs Racers has been removed from the Disneyland App for now.

Aren’t they great?! I love our RV! Never took it down to Disney, though!! We’ll be traveling in ours tomorrow for the long weekend!!

Yup ... home away from home! The Fort is insanely priced and tough to get reservations, but it's one of the nicest campgrounds in the county. You're right there on Bay Lake, but definitely has it's own feel when I can set up the bluetooth speaker under the awning at the picnic table with a beer (stock the fridge at home) while using my laptop.

Just watched Field of Dreams last night and I was discussing how I've been a fan of his, and his eyes. (DD20 is a baseball manager at Iowa University had never seen the movie, and we live in Iowa.)

Radiator Springs Racers to Remain Closed Through Weekend for Testing at Disney California Adventure​

A Disneyland spokesperson told the Orange County Register that Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure would remain closed indefinitely for testing after a vehicle was seen with smoke rising out of it.
