Disney Magic? Still feeling it?

How magical are your visits to Disney World now?

  • Still as magical as ever

  • Love WDW, but really miss some of the old magic

  • It's a wash - no feeling about this one way or the other

  • Dear Disney - I do not think that word means what you think it means.

As magical as ever. Went in March and will be back in October. Seems like we're either on a trip or planning our next trip. If you're in that mode and nobody is forcing you, I'd say that Disney is still delivering. :thumbsup2

I like it better than ever. I've been going since 71 when the park opened, and am enjoying it more than ever these days.

We just got back from one of many trips to WDW, and wondered how others are feeling about all the changes. (Personally, we liked the magic bands, but Fastpass+...not so much.) So I thought I'd put out a poll: Still feeling all that Disney Magic? Or, to quote Inigo Montoya out of context, "(Magic?) You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

We still feel the magic, otherwise we wouldn't be going back! I love the new system. It worked very well for us. I will be happier when tiering gets worked out a little better, but we had no problems on our last trip riding and doing everything we wanted. Disney is our favorite vacation. :cheer2:

Just as magical as ever. I am just back from our first trip with MB and FP+ and I liked both of them!

I think the magic stays with me because I try to find it. On our trip there, our flight was delayed and it was raining when we landed and we missed our Beaches and Cream reservation. Well, we ended up walking to Epcot instead and rode rides, had a nice supper, watched Illuminations, and it wasnt too crowded since the rains chased everyone away. I ended my night thinking about the magic I felt in Epcot, not the aggravation of the day. Likewise we had a few things that were aggravating but each ended up with a magical twist. CMs who comped us for our room not being ready. CMs who made an executive decision to help us with a FP problem we were having. The CMs who helped us get our group of 9 into Beaches and Cream to make up for our first day even though we had trouble getting everyone a reservation for the same time. The Celebrating the Magic light show on the castle (wow, that one really took my breath away!)
