Totally, nutty day here.....The school called no water this morning...They said they were going to bus the kids to the Middle School and High School.... Their teacher called her class was very upset and did not want to go.... She asked if I could come and pick up my kids and my neighbor. So I did took them to McDonald's and then they played here.... Then I had to go to a school meeting but we had to move it since we could not meet at the school due to no water. I wonder if we will have school tomorrow!!!!!!!

Any word yet Kristin? Are the girls home today? What caused the school to not have water? It'snot like it's January and they could freeze and burst!

It's raining here again!! Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL!!! As I was out and about I saw several people cutting grass already!! I am thinking with this rainfall, I "might" have to too! We'll see. I'd like to hold off a bit longer, so the grass can get full and lush, then cut it. Maybe I should fertilise this weekend!! That would be a good idea!

Allen, did you find a solution to your water problem in your VW?

hey everyone!! can't believe tomorrow is our last day here!! time flies

I was so sick yesterday, I think it was just a stomach virus...so far so good this morning, hope it's gone!!

Nancy!! I am so sorry you were sick!! I PRAY no one else gets it!! It would make for a long drive home!!!! How horrible!!

I am not any worse, but not really better either. just a bit stuffy. As I was driving Connor back from school today, I was noticing all the trees are in bloom and the lilac bush in the back is turning green again, SO maybe I just have allergies and not that nasty funk the kids had last week! Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Connor is home sick. He went to school and called me before 9. He puked at school. In the trash can in the room!! Couldn't even make it to the bathroom. I don't know if it's truely a virus or if it was from taking his meds this morning. He's got one more day of antibiotics from last week, so it could have been that.... Now, we wait and see. So far, he's fine!

It's a cold and damp day today. going to hang out and finish the wash. Steve is off the next 3 days!! I always look forward to these weekends! I think we are going to break down our 92 gallon corner unit aquarium. It has like 6 fish left in it and 2 plecosomus (sp). One is pretty big and I might have to get a fishing pole out to get him! He's got to be at least 12" long and about 5" wide! I have NO CLUE what we'll do with him when we clear out the tank. I hate to just let him suffocate and die, but we don't have anyone to take him. I could run him to the resevoir and dump him. Shoot, be my luck the DNR would be there and I'd be put in jail! LOL

Brrr, I am going to turn the heat back on!!

Randy, I got an email asking me to apply for the Mickey Moms House Party so I did there is a thread about it on the budget boards....We are going to get the party package on the 23rd I will let you know then what is inside of it........

Hanna got her glasses today sooo cute....They gave her a pink Disney Princess Purse to carry them around in....She is in her glory... We just got home from setting up for the Science Fair that is tomorrow night.. I totally let the four girls do the entire project on their own.. They decorated the posterboard etc....We go to the set-up tonight and all of them are all fancy, etc....It amazes me clearly the parents did these projects what was the point of that?? It is supposed to be for the kids.....

I am starting to think it's just allergies. Who knows....

Hey everyone!

A day of running for us!!! We got our shopping done and went out to lunch at the Mexican place. I love spending the day with him and no kids! Horrible, I know, but I am with the kids ALL the time! It gives us time to reconnect!!

While at Walmart we found an off set patio umbrella. When I asked how much it was, I was shocked that it was just $98!! We had priced them last year and they were $2-300!!! We scooped it up! It's a beige with a dark brown trim. Then we had to get some weights for the base so it won't tip over. While we were at Home Depot we found a side table that we really liked, so we got that too! Now we just need it to warm up about 30 degrees!

Connor has track in the morning. It's only suppose to be 25 degrees!! I told Steve we'll have to leave a few minutes early so we can drive through Timmies and get a coffee! Maybe we'll go to breakfast afterwards.

We also need to get the boys a couple more pairs of shorts for the summer. Colton has 6 pair that we got in the fall on sale, but they are ALL plaid. He needs at least 2 solids. Connor has 2 pair of plaid that fit, and that's IT! So he needs several pair.

How did the girls do Kristin? Did they find out the results today or do they have to wait a week or so?

Here I took the time to do my nails last night, and I BROKE 2 of them today!! So frustrating!! LOL I finally get them all the same length and looking good, and SNAP! (steve broke a nail today too! LOL)

well, the boys have taken over the TV down here and it seems to be a Stallone Marathon....Rocky 7 and now Tango and Cash. I think I need to go to bed!! LOL

Hey all... Just got home from the Science Fair....It was such FUN...................



Michele,, this year the school made all of the kids winners. So everyone got something.....It was soo nice for all of them. The theme was Rocks so our schools name is Lake Garda and the shirts said Lake Garda Rocks with a big volcano on it.........They all got pet rocks, etc.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, that is AWESOME that the school recognized ALL the kids!!

I am going to find my way to bed, just as soon as I have dessert! Philly Cream Cheese has a premade cheesecake filling. they have a NEW Key Lime filling! We got it today and I plopped it in a graham crust and topped it with cool whip! the last time I bought a container of filling, it never made it to the crust! (Did I just admit to that? It wasn't consumed in ONE sitting!)
