Disney Magic April 14 2014

I logged in exactly at midnight and they were gone! Snagged a Palo brunch, though!

By the way, does anyone have a 9-11 year old daughter who would be interested in instagramming/facetiming with my soon to be 9 year old daughter? She said she would feel more comfortable hanging out in the clubs if she already had a friend. Thanks!

I'm Nicole and will be sailing on this cruise with my family. My Daughter is 8 and my son is 7. We are from Iowa and looking forward to our first cruise. I just joined the Facebook page.

:welcome:

Hi Nicole and welcome! My son is 12 and my daughter is 10. We're very excited about this cruise. We just surprised the kids on Christmas using a scavenger hunt to tell them about the vacation. :)

Just paid off the cruise today! Yay! Now I'm hoping to scoop up a reservation in a couple of weeks for Palo brunch for our anniversary. Getting nervous since we only have one sea day for brunch..fingers crossed!

When I logged on this morning to change our party's reservation there were still goods times available! I'm sure you'll get one!! :thumbsup2

Sorry I have been gone for a while. Life got very busy!!! I am back. I updated the list. If anything needs to be added or changed just let me know. I will do a spreadsheet this week. I can't believe we leave in 3 MONTHS! We can't sign up for excursions until 1/29/14!!!

If you don't get one, you can have our's. We have never done it, so we won't know what we are missing. I can cancel and let you rebook (late at night to minimize the chance someone else snags). It is not every day you have an anniversary. :goodvibes

Hi Everyone. We're going too! We did our first Disney cruise last year and got hooked. I always wondered why anyone pays the high price for DCL, but we had an AMAZING time on the Disney Dream and now we can't be stopped! We think the Fantasy may be in our future for Spring Break 2016.

Traveling with DH and my DS who is 7. DS is a little shy so unsure if he'll spend much time in the kid's club as he has not in the past, but he'll go in long enough that I can probably read on deck for a hour or two.

We did Nasauu on last year's cruise so thinking of just staying onboard this time and watching DS use the slide a zillion times! Maybe fit in a movie too since we ran out of time for so many things on the Dream.

We're not sure if we'll head down to FL a little early or not. DS would REALLY like to stay at the Nickelodean hotel in Orlando as he loves Spongebob so we may try that for a night if weather looks warm for swimming. Or maybe the Space Center? A Monday departure really opens up the possibilities. We usually drive to Jacksonville so we only have a 2 hour drive the morning of the cruise so that is our backup plan. Despite my desire to fly, we can never justify the cost when it is only 7 1/2 hours + stops from our home.

I'll probably make final payment this week and let the countdown begin. I LOVE having a vacation to look forward to and DH and I are very glad that DS enjoys cruising as much as we do! Hope you all enjoy the countdown as well!

Hi Michelle!

I have a 7 yr old son too. I am hoping he and his sister enjoy the kids club as well so I can get an hour or two to work out or read. Maybe they can buddy up there.

I'm debating about leaving the ship in Nassau as well. I'm currently torn at the moment. I'm really starting to get excited for our trip. It is probably because of this cold weather.

We also have a 7 year old son......maybe they can form some sort of 7 y/o gang when they meet up at the club :)

This will be our first trip to Nassau. We've heard that its not the best place, and also we will have our 14 month old son with us. We're thinking of not venturing too far from the ship, on the off chance our youngest gets fussy. Is there enough to do onboard if we do go back for a majority of the day?

What a generous offer!! :goodvibes Thank you, but we just couldn't take yours...I hope you enjoy it! I'm confident that we'll get something either online or when we get on the ship.

We are staying on the ship in Nassau, have been there a few times. Gonna try to enjoy the "empty-ish" pool(hopefully):rolleyes1

We signed up for the chocolate making excursion on nassau. it's been getting good reviews on the disboards and it's something different to do. only takes a couple of hours.

:welcome:

Hi...I think we'll be staying on the ship in Nassau too..we've never explored Nassau, but we've never been on the Magic and want to spend as much time as we can enjoying the ship. We'll be arriving a little early for some park days..still deciding which ones to visit. The Space Center would be great too...would love to fit that in somewhere. :)

Hi! We're excited to be cruising on the Magic 4/14/14! We are looking forward to doing the FE..We are already thinking of ideas!

FE information is in post 95.

I think tnbeth dropped out of this cruise (post 127) and should be removed from post 2.

Yay! Checked in last night and made a Palo brunch reservation. :cool1: Hotels and flights are booked...All I have left to reserve is a car, but rates are so high that I'm waiting to see if they drop.
