I can't believe how fast the summer is going!!! I have not been on for a while and so much has happened!!!! So happy to see double digits on my countdown calendar though!!!!

So we have had 3 families drop off the Mickey list So if you have not looked at it in a while, please do!!! Hopefully we won't loose too many more!!! In better news, the Minnie list has only 4 more open spots!!!!

I am not sure how everyone feels about it, but I was thinking that we after the minnie list closes, we could just have an open list until about 3 weeks out for any late comers. That way people could still participate if they came aboard late!!!

I will also work on getting a list together for meet ups so people can see what is going on!!!

I'm new to FEs but think that three weeks out doesn't give much time to make changes. Some people might even have to order more gifts. People leaving the group (which is sad) is easier to accommodate then a constantly changing and unpredictable number of gifts to make and/or purchase. I would be more comfortable with 75 or even 90 days out for the list to be official closed to newcomers. Perhaps a separate third list can be started for those that are joining late and/or have more flexibility with their gifts and schedules.

Here we go! Final decision on the FE Lists!!! Mickey list is closed! Minnie List will close on 8/15/14. Whoever is on those lists will stay on those lists. If we have any other families drop off, we will not replace them. A third list will open on 8/15/14 for any newcomers to the group and it can stay open until 10/24/14. If you want to join that list, that would fantastic! If you have "extras" please feel free to spread a little magic to those people without putting yourself on the list. It is just a list for latecommers that find out about us after 8/15/14. I REALLY hope and pray that this is good for everyone. I more than understand people's busy schedules so I hope this accomodates everyone's concern about adding people to lists! Hopefully we are done losing people!!!!

My husband and I are joining everyone with our two boys on this cruise and can't wait! We cruised last year as a family and a few years ago just as adults all on disney. We have never participated in the FISH extenders, but would love to join in! Could you share a bit more about how FISH is working with this group?

Welcome aboard!!! Glad you signed up!!! You now just make or purchase little Disney or other items and deliver to each stateroom on the list. Some people do one gift per cabin, some do for individual people in the cabins. Of course, you have to make or purchase something to use for your own fish extender on your door. I have been on some cruises where the delivery times where staggered so you didn't get all the gifts in one or two days but I have not heard about that on this cruise (someone correct me if I am wrong) so you just deliver them whichever day/time you choose.

Just do a search on DIS or google Disney Fish extender gifts and you will find a lot of info too if you need any ideas.

Hopefully all repeat cruises got signed up for whatever port adventures, port arrival time or Palos you wanted!! We did our a while back but I know silver was midnight last night.

It is getting so much closer now!!!

Now that it is less than 3 months out , I created a document to start keeping track of the meet ups and other things that our group has been talking about. I tried to remember everything that was thrown around, but please feel free to add or change anything on the document.

I put a link to the google document I created in the first post and can't wait to see what everyone wants to do!!!!

i have a call into DCL to see about setting up a mixology course or a chocolate tasting. I will see how that goes. I know some of you are not a fan of the booze, so is there anything else you would rather do?

I was also thinking, we have a lot of celebrations taking place in our group (ie. birthdays, honeymoon, anniversaries, etc.). Would you want to get togehter and celebrate them? just a thought!!!!

Being from NJ, I would not mind a Bon Jovi sing a long night.... just saying

I just posted new files in the facebook group for the minnie and mickey FE lists!!!! Please review!!! No changes to the Mickey except I made it bigger. The Minnie List has some updates .

I am trying to figure out how to put links in the first post on here to the pdf documents and close the excel sheet!

i posted pdf copies of the lists to the first post in this thread. I tried to make it so that changes could not be made to the mickey & minnie lists, but you should hopefully be able to make changes to the chip & dale lists.... if that is not the case, please let me know and i will try to figure out something else.
