My husband and I will be taking the Magic for the first time with our 3 girls. At cruising time they will be 6, 4 and 3. We are so excited for it. I would LOVE any tips or advice. We too are from Jersey!

Debating on whether we should participate in the FE thing? I want to make it special for them, but never did anything like this before.

This is my first time on the Magic as well, but my 3rd cruise! I would say that the best thing is to try to enjoy the ship. I spent my last cruise trying to do EVERYTHING, and did not relax. I had fun, but felt that I needed a vacation from my vacation

The FE is a blast. My kids had a great time putting together our "gifts" before we left. It made the waiting for the cruise go much faster! They also loved getting little Mickey Mail every day. I have some of the gifts that we got in the last exchange at work and it reminds me of a great vacation. I had a great time doing it with the kids and I am not that crafty and the people in our group were so appreciative! It was nice to hear some at the pool say something nice about something someone in our group gave out!!!

Glad you decided to join in! FEs are very fun. When our grandchildren come with us they absolutely love finding their presents when they come back to the room!! Who am I kidding, so do I!!! It does make the cruise even a little more special. Don't be nervous about the gifts, I am sure they will be appreciated. There are lots of posts with ideas for FE gifts if you do a search on the cruise forum. Those always help come up with ideas!

Just joining in this group. This will be my 6th Disney Cruise but first time doing the FE. We will be travelling with our almost 9 year old son and our youngest will be 3 on the day the cruise leaves! Also, bringing along my husband's parents (will be their 3rd time coming along) and first time for my husband's grandmother who will be 87 just before the trip and is excited beyond belief!
Fairfax County, VA is off on Monday and Tuesday that week so many travellers from here also to various places.

Welcome aboard! Don't stress too much over the gifts (although I think I am being a little hypocritical).... I am sure that we will love anything. It is about the excitement about sharing, and the thought that counts! My daughter is 9 as well and VERY excited about this trip too!

This will be our 2nd cruise, we last went in 2012 on the Dream. I am Mindy, my husband is Gary, and we have Belle who will be 9, and Brady who is 6. First time FE's!

We definitely want to visit Stingray City in GC, the rest we're sort of trying to figure out. I have been to Key West before and would love to go back to Hemingway House and maybe the lighthouse.

We will probably do Stingray city. We have done it before but our friends have not. We have also done Stingrays on Castaway Cay which is much more controlled environment if younger kids. Think we will just shop around town in Cozumel. We have done some of the beach excursions in the past but not sure if I could do two days in a row as walking issues. We have been to Key West a few times. First time we did the conch train tour. That was interesting for adults but that was no on off. We have never been to Hemmingways house. What did you enjoy most about that?
