When going solo I always offer to take pictures for whole families because it's always one person missing. Most of the time they love the offer and accept the gesture. But I still get a few that look at me like I had just tried to hold them up. LOL Ely

We always hand out our extra fast passes, give away extra snacks from the meal plan, etc., but now I've got some great ideas for next time!

thats true people tend to give you some weird looks, but i think its nice when peopoe offer. i am always behind the camera, so all of my pictures are either the kids or the kids with DH.

last year in Jan. we went to WDW to celebrate DS 11th bday. just a mommy and me trip. We went to animal kingdom since he loves animals.first thing we did is ride dinosaur. we put all the stuff in the little bag things in the front and proceeded to get scared lol. we got off the ride and DS had to go to the bathroom, when he came out i asked him where his hat was.. he just got it at the sports store in DTD. he went back in the bathroom, and came back out, then remebered he had left it in those bags on the ride.. so we hurry back to where you buy pictures. the man was extremely nice looked up our picture to see what car we were in and had someone go check. unfortunately they didnt find it and told us to check back later in the day. we went back 3 x's and son was thinking he wouldnt get his hat back. on the 3rd try they told us to go to guest services up at the front when we got up there ,they had the hat! DS was so thrilled. and the man took him outside to where they have the little kiosks and told him since it was his bday he could pick something from the kiosk. he chose an animal kingdom tigger.. it was soo nice not to mention we found the hat too!

sorry one more.. animal kingdom must have been My DS magical spot..lol. we had seen flights of wonder this trip, and as we were waiting the cm were chatting with son about birds , his bday,ect. we watched the show and loved it. but i had not brought my video camera that day. So Ds insisted we go back the next day so we could record it. well while waiting in line. the cm's recognized him, and were chatting away. one of the cm's goes in and comes back telling us he has special seating for us. we go in and got to sit in the front rw, and they had a magical moment certificate and a styrofoam bird flyer sitting on the seat for him. Plus they chose him to go up to sit while the owl comes and flies down and lands on the stump behind your head... DS was in HEAVEN! and he got another magic moments cert for that too... It really made his day.
