Disney License Plate Frames

Does anyone know where you can find the Disney license plate frames? We have one now - Been There, Done That, Going Back!, but it is getting old and breaking apart after having it for several years. We looked a little (not a lot) when we went in December but couldn't find any in the gift shops. DH and I are going back the end of April and staying at CSR and would like to get a new one if they still have them. It doesn't have to be the same, but any Disney frame will do.

perhaps Ebay or Amazon will have them. I would like to get one as well but can't bear taking off my "Proud Army Wife" one.

I got one in the test track shop at epcot last time.. here in PA we are only require to have a license plate in the back so in the front I have a sorcerer mickey 4 parks on world , I also have a cinderella castle on i change it with sometimes..

Also, check on ebay, I have alot of disney paraphenalia on my truck that I bought mostly on ebay.. I even got the mickey mouse tow hitch cover on ebay that I wasnt able to find at the parks.. i got alot of my decals and stuff on there as well..

We only have one plate in the back in GA too and have the Cinderella castle one on the front too, but we could probably use a new one since it is a little bent up.

I never thought of checking at Test Track, but that makes sense. I sure hope it's not closed though when we go in April! We bought our frame at DHS (MGM then) in the garage at the front of the park that was a gift shop way back when.

I used to have this one! I wish Disney would put out some made of metal instead of plastic. The plastic ones break everytime I go through the car wash.

MK's Emporium has them. I'd be surprised if any of the main stores in each park didn't have them. And of course World of Disney at DTD.

I bought a "The Gang's All Here" set at the DTD World of Disney store in December. It includes a license plate holder, a keychain, a car air freshener and a sticker sheet of the Fab Six: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy. I don't recall what I paid for it. If you Google "Fab Six The Gang's All Here" you'll find a website with a picture (this website is selling it so I don't think I can put the link here).

Mesaboy2, I did look at the main stores in DHS but couldn't find one but forgot to check the Emporium in MK. I will definitely check it out.

Whamma, I'll also check out World of Disney for the Gangs all Here set. That one sounds cool! When we went to DD, we didn't have much time as we were leaving that day and I was mainly buying Christmas gifts for DGD and a monorail set for my DGS. Forgot to look for the frame there, but I'll look for it when we go back as we do have dining reservations at Wolfgang Puck Cafe, so we'll be spending some time down there one evening.

Mrs. Grumpy, I too wish they were made in metal since the plastic does break.

This gives me a number options to check out, so I'm sure we will find something if not on eBay. Thanks to all for your help!

Dang it, Texas has that stupid law that a frame can't extend more than 1/2 inch across the license plate, and can't cover anything. Including the decorative designs. I've never heard of anyone being stopped or ticketed, but with my luck I'd be the first one.

Glad I saw this thread, I'll be searching for a plate cover soon to. We are moving from Pennsylvania to Virginia so I will have to give up my Disney World license plate that I have on the front of my car.

Our next trip is not until December but might check out Ebay or Amazon first.

yes its metal and the mickey mouse is a magnet. they only place i will stick any decal is the windows. if it gets faded, you can scape it off the window with a razor blade and not harm the window. i dont stick nothing to the paint. good luck finding tham, if i see them ill pm you.

I've still got my "Been There, Done That" frame. It is a little faded but still looks good. I haven't seen any new ones at WDW. The only ones I have seen are the generic ones without much writing on them.
