Disney Killed my Flip Flops, but man I'm Full! Our Anniversary Trip! W/Final Recap!

I love this report...the pictures are awesome. I can't wait to go back to Disney and try some of that yummy food! :yay:

I know, right? I'm already looking forward to next year!

I am sorry your report is coming to an end. :sad1:I have really enjoyed all of your. The pictures are all so good. It is so cool to see pictures of the parks without many people in them. That is not usually something I see. We are usually not there in the early morning and can't stay that late.

Thanks! We slept in on a few of those days just so we could stay up late and enjoy the Extra Magic. It was nice!

Great report and wonderful photos!!! Thank you.

Glad you're enjoying it! :goodvibes

Once our lunch was settled we hopped on the boat and took it back to the Studios. We grabbed a locker and made our way over to the Tower of Terror. This is our favorite ride so we rode it three times in a row today! It was a blast...at one point I even had someone believing that they were sitting in the Ejector Seat! :lmao:

By this time we were about wore out so we took a break for an early dinner. we had a couple of Counter Service Credits left on our Dining Plan so we decided to stop at Rosies. I'm pretty sure we're not going to do this again. We both ordered the Chicken Nugget Meal with a drink figuring you can't go wrong with something that simple...right? :confused3

Boy were we wrong. To me the Nuggets were Dry and tasted like Cardboard. I gave them to DH and just ate the Fries. I was sorry we wasted our credits on these! It really is true what the people say about Counter Service in the Studios...it kinda sucks. I think Starring Rolls and Possibly Pizza Planet are the only ones with food you can actually eat!

After Rosies we walked around and looked in a few of the shops along Hollywood Blvd. My favorite is the Villains Shop...lots of fun stuff in there. They also have these guys...they made me a little homesick as I have two of my own!

We wanted to see one last Idol Finale, but it was still a little bit too early to get in line, so we went to hang out and grab a drink at the Tune In Lounge. I think I got the Mowie Wowie, and DH had a Root Beer Float.

This is a nice place to sit back and relax in the AC...The drinks are delicious, and it's also fun to watch people's reactions when they're being called for their 50's PTC tables and don't know what they're getting into!

It was about time to go wait for the Idol Finale so we made our way over to the Theater. I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoy this show...if you're a fan of Live Music, this is a great place to sit back and enjoy it!

The place was packed today, so we were glad we got there early. All of the performers did an awesome job, but the guy who won was definitely the best. He was from Puerto Rico and did a version of La Bamba that was Amazing! I've never heard the words so clearly!

Pictured here, he's the guy with the Turquoise Blue Shirt!

As the show ended, the park was closing so we made our way back to the lockers, got our stuff, and took the boat back over to the Boardwalk. Neither of us had ever been to Jellyrolls so we both thought that would be a great way to spend our last night in the World. We stopped for a snack at Seashore Sweets, caught a Magic Show, and made our way down there. It was close to 9, but we still got a table! :woohoo:

We both really liked it, and plan to spend more time here next year! I swear the popcorn was addictive, and after a few "starter" drinks, I discovered the "Big Red Cup" special. Tonight's was Sex on the Beach. You can't beat getting a 32oz drink for $9! :thumbsup2

We stayed until about 10:30 and got to see some fun stuff. There was a woman there celebrating her "divorce party" and she was requesting all kinds of fun stuff. I tried to get the guys to sing Rainbow Connection in Kermit the Frog's voice, but I guess I didn't tip enough! Maybe next time... :confused3

We didn't really know too much about Transportation at this point, so we made our way over to the Concierge Desk at the Boardwalk Inn to ask for some advice...They told me if we had stayed until 2am, we could have taken a bus back to the resort, but at this time (about 10:45pm) we would do best with a Cab.

We had them call a cab for us...and we waited out front. We were seeing several cabs pass us by, so at this point I asked how would we know which one was ours, they said just grab one! Ugh...so helpful! Lesson learned...they call the cab but it's your job to figure out which one to use! :sad2:

We hopped in one that could have fit 8 people, and the driver sped us back to the All Star. It was quite an adventure! We got back to the room, relaxed a little bit, and called it a night.

Tomorrow morning we would be having Breakfast and spending a little time at another park before hitting the road back to Charlotte...stay tuned to see what we got ourselves into on our last morning in the World! :cheer2:

We woke up Sunday Morning...kind of bummed that we were leaving, but at the same time excited for one last Breakfast! We called the front desk to make sure there was nothing else that we needed to do, and we drove over to the Polynesian for an ADR at O'Hana! I would get to see Mickey one last time before leaving!

Before we get to the food...remember the matching T-Shirts I told you about at the beginning of the trip, well we wore them today! My Husband was "Grumpy and Proud" and I was "With Grumpy!" We got a lot of compliments about these!

We checked in, got our picture taken and sat down to wait a little bit before our buzzer went off. My husband's Grumpy shirt was perfect for him today, as we are NOT morning people and he was still kind of tired.

I looked around and let him catch a little cat nap while we were waiting to get seated...

Our server was Romeo, and he took a little bit to get to us, but it was really busy so we understood. The view from our table was nice so we didn't mind...and we sure weren't in any hurry to leave!

3953951939_a389d82a5c.jpg

I finally got to try the juice I had heard so much about...and before we knew it, the food was here! There was Fruit, and then Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits, Potatos, and then the ever yummy Mickey Waffles! :yay:

Can I just tell you that I think they Sprinkle Crack on those Eggs because I couldn't get enough of them! DH thinks it's because they were made with real butter. We use the healthy stuff at home, so he's probably right!

Then it was time for Characters! :woohoo:

All in all, this Breakfast was a lot of fun. I think that we will definitely try a dinner here the next time we go! Great Character Interaction! :thumbsup2

After Breakfast we looked around the Hotel a little bit then took the Monorail over to MK to say goodbye to the Castle before we went home...

3954741652_d0eb547058.jpg

After arriving at MK, we went over to Tomorrowland to ride the TTA one last time. We then made our way to Main Street to grab a few Souvenirs. We didn't buy these, but thought they were adorable...maybe we'll get to Star Wars Weekend one of these years!
