Disney just bought Pixar for 7.4 billion

If they were to give the hand drawn animation a well-needed comeback, while still embracing the technological advances of the future, things would really take an upswing! Movie quality and attendance would go up. Park attendance and satisfaction would rise as well!

Here's hoping for a very bright future!

m i da only one who thinks both could b fine without each other? Now my dreams of "Pixarland" r over :'(

Even better for me is that Steve Jobs will be the majority shareholder AND on the board of directors of Disney.

Igor did very well with this deal and especially saying he will keep hands off of the "Pixar culture".
Jobs will be the largest individual shareholder. He will not be "the majority shareholder".
