Disney is just looking at cultural trends. Do you know anyone under thirty that is not permanently attached to their smart phones? I for one remember the pre cell days when if you wanted to make a call you needed a pay phone.
Unfortunately this is so true even when they are going 85 mph in a 60 and weaving in and out of lanes. Or going 40 in a school zone while on their smart phones. And it's not just the under 30. Unfortunately we call them "smart" phones, but so many who operate them cannot be described as smart.
With all that said, I have to use my smart phone so much in my course of a day for work and etc. I really don't want to be attached to it 24/7 on my Disney vacation. Unfortunately I will have to lug a battery charger, wear my reading glasses (I'm old and in my late 50's), and try not to walk into somebody else walking like a zombie staring at their phone.
