Dear Disney,

May we have an African American Princess? It would be sooo nice for the self esteem of so many African American girls everywhere. Also, a boys pirate character meal would be great or, peter pan or something.

Thanks for listening.

Gonzalo (that's DS (5)) wants a boy's character meal. For girls you have 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Castle and Pricess Storybook Dinning.

Collin (DS7) is in full agreement w/ Gonzalo! The only thing he liked abt CRT bfast was the sausage links (and I am quoting here)!

Toy Story is a prime candidate! Now that Disney has bought Pixar, what's the hold up?!?!? Or how abt villains, pirates or Star Wars?? PLease before my DS is too old to care anymore!!!!!

Why can't you? I know of a Star Trek fan who legally changed his name to James T. Kirk.... Besides, think of the looks you'd get on some CM faces when you handed them a credit card that said "April Disney"!

I don't know how he got away with that, you can't change your name to a name that is trademarked, is that of a celebrity or is copyrighted.

Dear Disney Exectutives,

I know that I have already made a post on this thread but while I am sitting at work I have Disney on the brain! I must commend the company for somehow having some of the best employees, aka CMs, around. In all of the years that we've been going, most years we make multiple trips, there have been less than a handful of less than great CMs that we've had contact with. I don't know if you add something to the water and make sure everyone has a drink before their shift or what but it does add to an already great vacation.

I would like to make a teensy request that in addition to stockholders getting some perks back that Florida residents get to use the DDP. We make multiple trips to WDW each year because it is close enough for us to drive to so you won't be losing any money! ;)

ºOº Please pay no attention to that kind, but misguided, request to move Carousel of Progress back to Disneyland – it belongs on the East Coast!
Sincerely,
Disneyphile who first experienced CoP at the 1964 World’s Fair

Agreed! CoP is without a doubt one of my most favorite attractions at any Disney World park. It just wouldn't seem like Disney to me if it got taken away. I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to live without the CoP.
Plus, it appears to me, although I do not know, that more people visit WDW than DL. I think I read somewhere that WDW was the most popular vacation spot in the U.S. which says something. Basically, in a nutshell, I love the CoP and to have it taken away from my beloved MK would make me very :sad1:.

Dear Disney Company,

Thank you for all of the wonderful WDW memories we have made over the past 18 years. Buying into DVC 10 years ago was the best thing we've ever done. Our WDW vacations have brought us closer as a family. Thank you for the movies, music, and TV shows that we all love. Thank you for the positive & creative outlook on life that I have been able to instill in my children by using Disney as an example. Thank you for keeping Walt's dream alive.

Now for my requests:

Please bring back Tapestry of Dreams - or something new to Epcot. We loved TON/D!

Please update Illuminations...soon! :hourglass

Please have some kind of fireworks at MGM - Fantasmic gets old, and not everyone likes to sit in that big theatre with a sea of people! :crowded:

Please update your ADR system so we can make our own restaurant reservations online! :surfweb:

Please reward your repeat customers (DVC members, AP holders, Florida residents, stockholders, etc.) with good benefits and incentives. I know you want to attract new customers, but most of us repeat customers are what have kept you in business all these years. Don't forget about us! :flower3:

Please don't change the signature restaurants so they all serve the same bland food. Let each restaurant shine in it's own unique way and offer creative dishes and drinks using the best ingredients. Fine dining is a big part of many people's vacations. Don't give them a reason to go off site to eat.

Thanks for listening...
-Michelle

Ask and you shall receive. :) Her name is Maddy. There was a thread on here last week, but now I can't seem to find it. If you do a google search, a bunch of articles pop up about her.

I don't know how he got away with that, you can't change your name to a name that is trademarked, is that of a celebrity or is copyrighted.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say:

In nearly all states one cannot choose the name of a notable person with the intent to mislead, a name that is intentionally confusing, a racial slur, threats, obscenities, or a name that incites violence.

Note the key phrase there: intent to mislead.

As long as you can convince a Judge that you're not changing your name to Disney with the intent of defrauding or "intentionally confusing" anyone, it should be ok.

Dear Disney,

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't close Haunted Mansion in June! I know you can push back rehabs, as you pushed Teppanyaki back and knocked us out! Just a few weeks... PLEASE!!:worship:

I know you're not alone on this from all the posts I've seen. If they are reading, I don't think they would accommodate, as it looks like they're rehabbing it right up until MNSSHP. I doubt they'd have the HM out of commission during that period. I know I'd be bummed if it was closed during my visit, too. :sad1:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet....a Hooter's at DTD?:duck:

Dear Disney Disboards reader, whose job I envy

Please pay your CMs more, they deserve it!
-Renee

Yep... it's kinda hard to sell tickets to a Halloween event when your Haunted Mansion is closed.

Dear Disney,

Please bring back the long, multi-colored lead pencils with the character head on top that you used to sell at DL years ago! :) I still have my Dumbo one and he needs company!

Also, bring back the pre-Eisner era inexpensive souvenirs that you used to sell, things that little kids can afford out of their own allowances. Like the Disney character-head zippered coin purses that would squeak, kids sun glasses with the little 3-D image that moves on it or the tiny felt souvenir flags that you can put up on your bulletin board when you get back home. They may be kitschy, but they're awfully fun!

Love, Me! :wave2:

Dear Disney,
Please give families of 5 more options when it comes to choosing a resort. Thank you.

I dont know...i'm still convinced that Disney has some sort of mind altering gas that they pipe in when you step off the plane in MCO, and all through your vacation that totally makes you LOVE LOVE LOVE it and crave it all the time. Can we bottle that?? Wow, we could really make alot of money with that one!

I guess my wish would be more diverse character meet/greets. We always see the same ones, and quite frankly I really dont want another Minnie autograph/picture! I had 6 from our last trip in October!:rotfl2:

For right now, that's all i can think of--I guess cuz it's almost 2am..:surfweb:

Dear Disney,

My one request is for real, Truely Real coffee. It is hard for us worn out parents to wake at the crack of dawn by our overly excited children. The only thing that helps is the taste and smell of real coffee. Pair up with Folgers or Maxwell House. Even the Starbucks. Do whatever you have to do.

Thanks and remember REAL COFFEE.

Yours Truely,
Tonya the caffiene addict.
