Disney is reading message boards

Disney,

I'd clearly like to re-enforce the idea of a PotC dinner.. Jack, Will, Elizabeth, etc.. Yeah.

You already got my suggestion in the suggestion box at Epcot. USE IT. Haha.

Yep... it's kinda hard to sell tickets to a Halloween event when your Haunted Mansion is closed.

I know... it just seems odd they would close a major attraction during peak season, instead of planning it earlier. A few days or a week would have been fine... but MONTHS! :confused3 Just disappointed. DD4 loved this ride, and is very disappointed it will be closed. Wouldn't be so bad, except that we will not be returning for several years.:guilty:

PLEASE!! Don't close the Haunted Mansion this summer! This is my families favorite ride! Could you PLEASE have it opened by August??? I don't know when my family will be able to come back! This may be our last trip for quite a while!!!

And could you please have free Disney Dining this again this year it would really make our trip!!

Thank you for all the great memories you gave not only me but my family as well! I'll never forget the looks on my childrens faces when they saw Cindy's Castle for the first time! We love you!!!

dear disney

please please please finish the legendary years section of Pop

Dear Disney
I agree with this post and may I suggest Family suites too.:grouphug:

Thanks

Dear Disney,

You truly are a magical place to visit. You have helped my DH and myself create wonderful memories with our 3 children. It is amazing the things kids remember.

I second, third fourth, etc.... the fresh brewed tea, slushies. I also appreciate the idea of random discounts versus block offerings, but certainly understand the marketing behind them.

It would be nice to have a concierge lounge in each park for the visitors who stay on site concierge level. Just a thought - cold/hot drinks, light snacks, fresh fruit/veggies.

Hears hoping you read us! Can't wait to see you all holiday decorated!

Please, please DISNEY don't close the Haunted Mansion during the summer! There are thousands and thousands of us that want to enjoy the COOL Hauntings during the hottest of Florida months. We will be very disappointed. Can't you do a "quick fix" soon and then close it down during a " low attendance period" when you will affect fewer LOYAL visitors.

Dear Disney,

I second this request from disney gal! AND:

I also want the nescafe mud disguised as coffee to go away.

Please don't stop giving AP holders room discounts and we would love it if we didn't have to play the "code game." Can't you just give us the darn discounts without this waiting game. Perhaps announced them in Nov/Dec for the following year. We are very loyal and we'll come back again and again.

Please stay within the Disney standards for attractions, like you have with Expedition Everest, the new Nemo stage show at AK, and Mission Space and STOP with the sub-par crap like Journey Into Your Imagination and Stitch's Great Escape.

Please bring back the original Tiki Room show. C'mon now - what is there now is a total joke. It's not timeless and it is actually quite ridiculous now. Don't mess with the classics.

Please don't forget - it all started with a Mouse. Please let the resort live up to Walt's dream and expectations. Don't lose sight of this.

Please be kind to your CM's - they are, after all, where the magic truly is. Pay them better, they deserve it. Without them, there is no Disneyworld. And that's the truth!

Disney - I love you!
Here is a suggestion --
My father in law has Parkinson's and is now at the stage where he needs a wheelchair when going to the parks. I cannot help notice the amount of people who are in wheelchairs and do not seem to really need them. I saw several people in wheelchairs due to weight issues and even over heard some people on past trips commenting that it was a cool idea to use a wheelchair to get special seating, etc. We ended up getting the last wheelchair at AK. I think people should show proof to guest services that a wheelchair is truly required for medical reasons - that is if they do not look disabled.

I agree with PamNC on this one! If you're having trouble hiring, but you find that outside contractors can hire just fine, then the problem isn't that people don't want to do the jobs. It's that the wages being offered aren't high enough!

I'd gladly pay more for my trip if I knew that everyone I encountered was a Disney employee and was earning a fair wage.

Your Coffee requests will fall on deaf ears, Coca Cola owns Nescafe so we are stuck with the mud.

NOOOOOO!!!! But if they are taking requests.....if unable to upgrade food court coffee...how bout small 4 cup coffee makers in the value rooms? No charge refrigerators at values? Family suites at Legendary Years? That's all! :)

Disney was reading the rec.arts.disney Usenet group as long ago as 1991. For them it is a fairly cheap way to do market research.

Dear Disney,
We love you! I second the request for a concierge lounge in the parks for those staying in concierge levels. While you are at it, would it be so hard to have separate buses for each of the deluxe resorts instead of making us all cram together and share. I like the idea of computers in the room (like is being tried at CR). I would also like to see resort guests have preferred access to fast passes, maybe even based on the level of resort.
At the parks, we love everything except Stitch and the Speedway, so much room for such a mediocre ride.

Dear Disney , We need real coffee, not mud. Kid's meals that the kids like, such as Hamburgers ,french fries, some salad and other healthy stuff is okay along with this, more buses at closing that's it for now!!

Dear Disney,

Thanks for all the wonderful memories.

A few things:

1. Please please finish the Legendary Years - like many have already said, they are an eyesore

2. Whatever you do, do not get rid of Carousel of Progress...it's a classic. I understand its old but you can get rid of Stich instead.

3. Where can I get a cheeseburger for my niece who is 8 and eats using the kids dining plan? Kid's menus need more variety - keep the healthy but I'd also like to see some burgers on there.

4. I love MGM - could you add a few other things to it though? I don't know one or two other rides, the same goes for AK - they are just lacking something.

OK that's all I can think of for now. thanks for listening though!

I'm been bringing my own the past few trips. Disney does everything else so
well, what's up with the terrible "JO"? :scared:

Hi! Forgot a few:
-the kid's meal situation has got to change. We will be there 10 days, my kids don't want to eat the same thing for 10 days.
-Please keep the Evil step-mother and step-sisters around, we won't be there until December and my girls would love to see them
-A boys character meal. I have two boys and two girls and can't help but feel that they get the shaft. They would love POtC characters, or maybe Peter Pan and friends. My girls would love that too! Seriously, as a stock holder, you can't imagine how popular that would be, think CRT.
-Better resort choices for a family of six. We don't mind paying to stay in a deluxe resort, but now that DD is 3, the only option is a deluxe room at BWI, a ridiculously expensive suite, or a ridiculously expensive two bedroom villa
-For my husband, the coffee situation PLEASE fix it.
-Please keep COP! We love it, when the kids get too hot and tired we head straight for COP.

Okay, maybe Disney does read these boards, but wouldn't it be much better to just write a letter to Disney directly? I think that a lot of letters regarding the things you like/don't like is much more likely to get results!

I always bring my own coffee. Grind my STARBUCKS beans before I leave home and put them in an airtight container and brew my own....I even bring my own flavored creamer. I just cannot do that scary coffee in the World.

Dear Disney

I absolutely love everything about you and your parks!!!

(I can't speak for the coffee because I usually stay offsite). :rolleyes1

Every card that I got for my birthday yesterday was a Mickey Mouse card, so everyone that knows me, knows how much I love you, obviously. Today I am going to watch my brand new Walt Disney Treasures "Your Host - Walt Disney TV Memories from 1956-1965" DVD that I got for my bd. :cloud9:

It doesn't matter to me what you change going forward, I will still be back every year, and plan to be working for you in 2 years when I retire from current job and we move to Florida. Yes, I am serious! Expect my resume sometime in the near future. :thumbsup2

See you in 32 days!!!!
