Disney is open now???

That's what I have heard for the second time this week. The first was from a family member on Christmas day ("Disney World is open on Christmas Day??!!??"), the second was from a pharmacist at Walgreens today. He complimented my Mickey jacket, and I mentioned something about being at WDW last week. His remark: I would think they are only open March through November". Maybe Disney needs to add to their tv commercials: Open every day!

And I LIVE in Florida and people do not know this! When I told some people we were going Thanksgiving they asked me if I was sure they were open! I said, "YES- and it will be crowded too", and I added that they were open Christmas day and they said, "I bet no one is there then!". This was several different people that I had this conversation with! UGH!

Tell ya what...if they are only open March-November...then they can take the Pennsylvania weather that would cause it, and I'll take Orlando's.

A lot of people are in the mindset of seasons at amusement parks. Many parks are open from May to September. That's considered a "season." That's also because it snows and is cold during other months. On the other hand, Florida's weather permits parks to be open year round. Yet another benefit of living in Florida!
